I have rather taken the other ruite. The road less travelled. I have taken the illogical route for most. I have lumped in my support with the almighty god, the maker of heaven and earth. The saviour of my soul. The lion of judah. The ALMIGHTY all powerful god. The one you say is an old womens tale. I consider myself on the right side of the plot. If god does not exist...i will share the same fate as all of you. I will die. What have i lost then...nothing...but if my god is real...and he is...you have far more to loose than you realise.

Watch and see the salvation of my god. See that the lord is good to me and to his children. You will see how god vindicates his children.

If the linked article contains advertisements that you get paid for people to just view... say google ads... You can make lots of money from having articles on the front page of digg.

Yes there are people who love it here on earth. You have the option to stay...and share the same fate as this earth. We have become really good at knowing when there is going to be rain, and snow, and what the weather will be like for the next week. We have figured it all out completely. Except we havent figured out when this earth will be destroyed.

If you look at history...the earth has been destroyed before, and will be again...you can not escape earth...hell, the only way to get out of here, is to go 'up'.

If this place we call earth is that to which people return everytime they die...then it means it has become a prison for them. When the prison is destroyed, so must the prisoners.

But the prisoners are living it up here...they like it here...so here they can stay.

I'm sure some people who call god a monster will have to rethink their words. If they dont think earth is bad...then they cant exactly call god cruel can they?

I want to hear....well done they good and faithfull servant...enter into the JOY of the lord. What joy is there on this earth? Isnt there weeping and gnashing of teeth, arent we murdering, raping, lying to each other all day every day? I highighted that one part bold because it's simply not true. I know of many good people who are not of your perception of God, like the Dalai Lama. (unless you consider sages like him to be of God, as you have stated in the past that many can worship the same God in different ways)

As for the rest of that.... I know the fate of this world as well as you do. The Earth is more or less returning to the state it was in before K-T, that is, the Ice Age(the age of year-round natural ice) is coming to an end, and if we are unable to evolve we will perish. I also know that 5 billion years (give or take) down the road the sun will expand to engulf the first three planets. I also know that in the course of Earth's future many asteroids will collide and cause mass extinctions. Though I never heard of the other planets colliding with us... last I looked the only two planets that will collide eventually are Neptune and Pluto. Got a study to back that one up?

Yes there are problems here and there are good things here. Therefore I would be more inclined to believe we are in a middle ground, where there is both good and evil. After all, you don't suffer, gnashing your teeth, constantly getting raped or murdered, living each day wondering if you're going to live or die with screaming and gunfire as your lullaby. (yes I completely ripped that last part off of Sniper Wolf's dying words, fellow nerds who know what I'm talking about )

On the other hand, good and evil are 100% man-made concepts and don't really exist in the real world, and I would expect any of the gods let alone the Supreme God to be above such petty and narrow concepts.

And so Each individual's picturisation of Heaven and Hell is different and so according to their faith. Is that possible that there being ONE God there are as many heaven and hell as the human population?

I'd even be so bold to say that worshiping Jesus is idolatrous, because Jesus himself, as far as I remember, never claimed divinity, and the Son of God thing (from my perspective!) doesn't mean Jesus is God but the highest created being. (I do know that there were two priests in the early Christian church who quarreled over that issue, one believing that Jesus was the highest created being but not God, where the other believed that Jesus was both man and God; Emperor Constantine when he canonized Christianity as the founder of the Catholic faith went with the latter so that everyone could agree on something... and seeing as he believed that anyone who didn't believe as he did was heretical makes me doubt his authority on this issue.)

But that's just how I read it; that issue is really up to you, and in your decision on how you're going to worship, I suggest taking a look at the history of Christianity; Acts only gives one piece of the story from a bias perspective. The History Channel has two great documentaries that deal with this, one of them in two parts: "Who Wrote the Bible?" and the two "Banned From the Bible" episodes. You can find them on Youtube.

Also, as another addition to my suggestions to the OP, I suggest you take a look at eastern philosophical religions like Buddhism and Taoism. (you don't have to "convert" to them at all to gain wisdom from them because they're not really religions per se but philosophy) They can help you get in touch with yourself; after all, if you don't know yourself how can you expect to know God?

We live in a Civic Nation State,not a religious one.

CG should write down names,places & events,everyone should be accountable for their actions.

We all have a voice & the strength our society should be judged by how we treat the weaker members.
