I do. He thinks he's funnier than he is, and it bothers me. To you maybe...
I don't have an issue with his argument. He certainly doesn't say it best. I think he's terribly overrated. I don't think he's talented.

This is strictly a matter of opinion then.

I've done all that. He's still crap. I don't let my personal beliefs get in the way of enjoying comedy. I gave him a real chance and sat through one of his stand up specials. It just wasn't funny.

Your repitition of the obvious reminds me of Maher. I suppose if it makes you happy, you could point out that it's my opinion again. Some people here might not be convinced. You'll need to re-assure them.

If it were just a matter of him simply being unfunny, he wouldn't be getting the strong emotional reaction that he does (and like he is here in the thread).

Even when I agree with Maher (Religulous), I find him snarky, obvious, unfunny & way too self satisfied.

That's fair. I do find him to be those things at times. Some of his jokes are funny, but he's kinda of a blanket-statement-making douche at others. There are definitely funnier comedians.
