American intervention in Korea

Even if they couldn't nuke South Korea (I'll take your word for it), if the yanks had used nukes on China, the situation would have escalated and many, many more would have died in the ensuing world war.

Nukes are terrible weapons. Ideally, no one would have them. But rather than just one country having them (and bullying the world into submission, as it seems you would have supported), better that more countries have them to prevent such acts of madness.

As it turned out, the views of the rest of the world (together with more restraining voices in government) kept the US in check - thank goodness.

Folks, the world is running out of oil and soon thereafter natural gas in amounts we can rely on as our energy source. Nuclear electric energy is our future sustainable energy source.

Having said that we need all the existing centrifuges we can make as well as all the uranium we can find to run these electric nuclear generation plants.

The world needs to “buy” North Korea's enriched uranium giving North Korea a good money source to improve the living standards of their country.

Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Elijah, and John the Baptist didn't need such ungodly means of transportation or resources, so neither should we.

Everyone needs to find a job they can walk or bike to.

Everyone needs to walk, peddle, or take an electric wheelchair, magic carpet, or cart where they go.

And we should live in mud-huts, caves, igloos, tents, or teepees.

And God needs to give everyone wings so they can fly like the birds to where they need to go.

Voted no. I do not think the purpose of the war was the SK/NK which developed over time and what we see now. At best it was an unintended result

I used to think fighting communism was noble.

Ive seen the cruel way America went about it, the destruction of innocent lives, the people left traumatized and handicapped, right-wing Dictators, the cost of taxpayers dollars, and the failed military objectives, and im completely opposed to that behavior.

That said, I would much rather live in South Korea than North Korea!

I think European and American leadership has done many stupid things from errors in judgement, but I don't think Europeans and Americans are stupid on average!

At least no more stupid than me!
