What one needs is statistics that measure integration in some coherent scale and compares the level of integration of various religious and ethnic minorities and see how the muslim immigrants are doing in terms of first and second generation integration and if there is any correlation between religiosity and the level of integration. Facts, not pictures. Are there any?
Well, yes there are, for the UK. The recent ComRes survey revealed some very disturbing facts:
> 36% of 16 to 24-year-olds believe if a Muslim converts to another religion they should be punished by death, compared with 19% of over-55s
> 37% of 16 to 24-year-olds would prefer to send their children to Islamic state schools, compared with 19% of over-55s
> 37% of 16 to 24-year-olds prefer Sharia to British law compared with 17% of over-55s
> 74% of 16 to 24-year-olds would prefer Muslim women to choose to wear the veil, compared with only 28% of over-55s
> 13% of 16 to 24-year-olds "admire organisations like al-Qaeda that are prepared to fight the West" compared with 3% of over-55s
Note not just the high percentages against integration, but the fact that the younger generation are less tolerant than their grandparents.
