Wasn't quite sure where to put this in political debates...so it landed here.

The reason I am posting this thread is in all the bold text. If you cant beat the boys, go beat the girls. Yes that's my opinion and what I believe.

<...>
I just love irony. Is all this hub-bub of cis men going after transwomen the latest version of smear the {gender}queer?

NO, you screwed up. That is a fact.
And this is a true statement....

"but has never achieved the same level of success in the men’s division."

That level of success was their first world medal.

It never said they couldn't win as a man, its says never had the same level of success.

Reading comprehension is key.

Two simple questions....I expect a dodge but we well see.

Had they won a world title competing as a man?

Or was their first world title won while competing as a women.?
Your questions are a dodge. You have not been listening to the facts that refute you. He regularly beat men. He was new to competition again, so that almost always means than one will not be the best in the world, but he still won eleven Italian national titles. He regularly beat men. You lost.

And even worse for you, he bronze medaled at the world level. That means that he was still not beating all of the women.

So we have ignoring of the facts on your part and very poor and unjustified assumptions.

An argument so poor that it can be refuted with a:

So what?

"Valentina Petrillo underwent a transition in 2019(at 44), changing his name and starting hormone replacement therapy. As a result, Petrillo began participating in women’s athletics, (paralympic women's competition) and breaking several Italian records along the way. Strikingly, Petrillo has won multiple women’s running championships but has never achieved the same level of success in the men’s division."

Women's sports are pretty much finished now with all this insanity going on.

So I just can't care about this when the same humans who are freaking out about "men" in women's sports and claim to be pro-woman by disallowing their participation are the same ilk violating basic human rights by passing forced birth (aka, state sanctioned slavery when pregnant) legislation. Sorry.

Some cis women have high testosterone levels and win competitions. In one case I read about, she was ordered to take drugs to lower her testosterone level. Trans vs cis is overly simplistic.

Didn't answer the questions just as predicted.

And even worse you called them a "he" when you know they are a transgender female. That's rude and disrespectful.

"he bronze medaled at the world level. That means that he was still not beating all of the women.

Intersex women are overrepresented in women's sports in the Olympics with their medals and have been for some time. Should we take away their medals?

I lose track of the history of their competition & sex
status at each stage. But I'd use "he" referring to
their male stage, & "she" after transition.

Complicated it is. In Chinese, pronouns
lack gender...."he" & "she" are both "ta".
But the language sux in other ways.
English is best, & will evolve as needed.

The posts first paragraph speaks of "he" when they were a man.
The second speaks of "he" after they transistioned.
