Isn’t the US supposed to be secular though?Who cares?
Well, evidently your gods don't. Others do.

Uh. Who said anything about the US? Your country isn't US, is it?Isn’t the US supposed to be secular though?
That's why animals (and us) lick their wounds. A little spit can make a lot of things feel much better. As it's Indiana they may not have as they may have been too scared it would damn them to eternal Hellfire.
Umm this is in the North American politics section. I literally spoke of the R v W decision (which is specific to US law) and asked about the potential of the revival of the anti sodomy laws specifically in the US in my OP.Uh. Who said anything about the US? Your country isn't US, is it?
Sadly, I can't disagree.Whilst I agree. Sometimes that’s really the only option available. And I’d argue that such laws (legislating against abortion, anti sodomy laws etc) are in themselves harmful to many people in the first place
So obviously this has been hinted at a great deal since the infamous R v W decision.
Now not being American I won’t pretend to understand how that would work. Just that from the outside looking in, it looks like the US is vying to be the most archaic and backwards modern civilisation in modern history.
Sorry.
That’s just how it looks on the world stage.
Now I’m hearing that many of the US states are going to try to reinforce anti sodomy laws.
Is that seriously what you guys want?
Have at it, guys. Chat, discuss and debate about it.
I’m just thankful that my country actually has some freedom.
Really? You know that much about other gods, do you?Who cares?
Well, evidently your gods don't. Others do.

You have to remember, SCOTUS also had a right to privacy ruling much like Roe vs Wade that stated anti-sodomy laws were unconstitutional.
In more ways than one. GiggityTrying to enforce anti-sodomy laws would likely be a real pain the butt.
Not according to the governor of Florida and a potential presidential candidate along with a number of theocrats in the "republican" party.Isn’t the US supposed to be secular though?
Ummm....odd turn of phrase, there, don't you think? They used to have anti-sodomy laws still on the books in my state. I think they repealed them at some point in the past 20-30 years or so. They weren't enforced, as far as I know. Trying to enforce anti-sodomy laws would likely be a real pain the butt.
Isn’t the US supposed to be secular though?
From whom? There is enough tragedy proliferating around us. I for one have no need for unsubstantiated nonsense. Now I’m hearing that many of the US states are going to try to reinforce anti sodomy laws.
This is from my own country’s news. From whom? There is enough tragedy proliferating around us. I for one have no need for unsubstantiated nonsense.
Who cares?
Well, evidently your gods don't. Others do.
No. I didn't.Umm this is in the North American politics section. I literally spoke of the R v W decision (which is specific to US law) and asked about the potential of the revival of the anti sodomy laws specifically in the US in my OP.
Did you happen to misread my question posed?
Wha???
I hadn't heard of that...
How would a person even prove such a thing? Furthermore, who cares who puts what where? (Provided its consensual, of course.)
No of course not
Hmmm. Isn't this a rule violation SomeRandom?
I don't really get into politics. No of course not
But given the overall context, US law was at the very least, entirely relevant
Hence my question of secularism.
But okay, in your country, is the federal law governed by religion?
