I've never heard of any Maverick mathematicians - nor any Rawhide or Bonanza mathematicians either.

I´ve skimmed your profile link and I´ve just a question of your mathematical skills in astrophysics and cosmology?
Check six – Amplifying Brains

It's about what we do in thousands and millions and billions of years from now. It's about spreading out through the galaxy and beyond and possibly interacting with Aliens, all from a mainstream science perspective.

So no it's not specifically about dull, comprehensive astrophysics and cosmology, but it's about what we can do with it

Why don't our "great" resident mathematicians and cosmologists etc engage seriously as challenged by the OP, please?

A little question, please.
Does Mathematics even exist in nature, please?
If yes, who taught it to nature, please?
Right friends, please?

I think outside the box. And....what I think is: I'd like to get inside the box again.
Please keep us posted as to what both sides do "inside the box".
And by the way, is it really "again", please?
What was the subject of discussion "inside the box" last time, please?
Right, please?

Regards

Not do be rude, but I wouldn't search for mathematician and theoretical physicists in a place call "religious forum". Have you ever tried to o to your local university department of physics or mathematics and see who holds chairs there?

Not a good idea....those folks know math.

Okay, then....I want think inside the box for the first time (since I have probably never been in it the first time).

epronovost said that he needed a mathematician to think outside the box, but didn't say what was outside the box. Boxes seem safe and secure, and like nice places to be (unless someone sticks a stamp on the outside and mails me to Alaska). Not now, polar bear, I'm busy thinking outside the box.

That would fall more in the category of speculative science fiction like Star Trek for example or Alien Worlds.
It is like Star Trek, but only with mainstream science.
It works with or without Aliens, but most scientists think if we spread out that far into space we will eventually encounter them.

Sorry mods for posting twice: it's really relevant.

One combatant is not to enter inside the boxing ring (box) for the bout in the present cold season ^^.Nevertheless, have a heart the resident Mathematicians etc.!, and knock the OP down!
Right friends, please?

The creation at large cannot be put on equations at all as it´s a cyclical and evolving motion. Maths can´t even be fully credible when measuring a wooden board which constantly changes its lenght when heated and cooled.

Spam, wonderful spam (bloody vikings!)
This OP of *Maverick Mathematician* thread has evolved to be the the pure farce where *black boxes thinkers* have taken over and simply ignoring the very OP.

And it all becomes a pathetical circus when even RF Staff Members are ignoring the OP and deriving everyting with irrelevant nonsense.

Don´t RF have any ordinary Forum rules to follow?

They're hopeless. Particularly the colonials who aren't using the Queen's English, they keep saying "math" instead of "maths". :p

Under all circumstances you´ll have to excuse me, I´m only Danish :)

It doesn't impact one's calculations of "Maths." even if it is spelt "Math", please.
Does it?
Right friends, please?

I wonder if all astrophysical and cosmological mathematicians just are able to work with consensus approaches in these scientific areas
I take it you mean the equations of physics generally, no?

They're derived by looking at reality. If the result of the maths doesn't work properly in reality, then the relevant formulation has failed ─ often enough in an informative manner, but failed.

That's to say, with the maths of physics, the test of success is objective.

It sounds like you have some pet hypothesis that the physics departments think is wrong.

Is that right? What's the actual topic you have in mind?

My bet is a form of Electric Universe hypothesis. These were a bit more popular in the 70's and have failed so far and, in some case, even devolved to a point of almost self-parody like meteorite crater impact actually been caused by cosmic storm thuderbolts, a phenomenon never observed so far.
