Ireland were brutal. I hope we can get something in shape for the world cup qualifiers - but it's hard to see it.

You played better against Italy, just not quite well enough to win. I reckon you have a chance to make the world cup (you should have made it last time) but it'll be tough again

I have thoroughly enjoyed the first stage. Some good games so far.

Pretty disappointed with Ireland - I tend to adopt them when Scotland are absent (always). Spain have looked by far the best sides, but the Germans have been good, and I've been impressed by France.

If I was a betting man I'd put my money on a Spain vs Germany final

I reckon Welbeck is better than Rooney for England. Rooney is always hyped up for England and then under performs. I don't want England to start playing Rooney every minute of every game to please the press. Although we should probably start him against the Ukraine with Welbeck.

I agree but i would like to see Rooney sitting just behind Welbeck and Walcott as the front two,Chamberlain on the left,Gerrard,Parkerand Milner on the right,Ukraine must attack as they need a win so counter attack is in order IMO.

not the best performance we've had. Defence had a dodgy start and didn't even try to win the ball at times (which is worrying). At least we did alright when we did attack. Also thanks Sweden :D

I'm not sure which team performed worse, The Netherlands or Ireland xD. Both had a pretty poor tournament.

Tell me about it hehe .

I am not really for Holland until they get far like in Africa hehe, i am orginal from Morocco so i prefer Morocco.

I remember playing Morocco on Fifa world cup 98. Officially the best football game ever :D. Shame Morocco haven't really done as well since

Blame the coaches and bad-luck they defiantly had and have great players, its harder to qualify yourself when your playing against African countries all the time.

They will be playing Bahrain in three days for the ARAB CUP.
And they will resume playing in 2013 to join the World Cup.

They are in Group C the problem is Cote dívore they have some great players like Drogba.

Team

Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts

Côte d'Ivoire 2 1 1 0 4 2 +2 4
22px-Flag_of_Tanzania.svg.png
Tanzania 2 1 0 1 2 3 −1 3

Morocco 2 0 2 0 3 3 0 2

Gambia 2 0 1 1 2 3 −1 1

A draw against Ivory Coast is quite good. Draw with Gambia not so much

Where I'm from we call your brand of football "patty cake on grass".:p

this is football:

No wonder they have to stop every few minutes with all their Grannies bedding stuffed up their shirts :p,strange you call it Football when the Quaterback throws the ball and the reciever catches it with his hands :p.

I watched the Chicago Bears Superbowl final,it was some time ago and they brought this Guy on,he was called "the Refridgerator" he looked like he lived on Hotdogs and Hamburgers :D ,man all he did was catch the ball and flatten the opponents defence, the only time i saw anyone kick the ball was after a touchdown or for the extra point.

I'm hoping England really stuff Italy on Sunday. Italy's diving and messing about really was annoying to watch against Ireland.
I'd really like to see England take them apart.
