Any Superior Beings?

I used to imagine that as a human being I was somehow outstanding.

I now realise that in the great scheme of things I am merely mediocre.

I think this probably applies to you too:

Yes...

You...

My ego has been deflated.

I am happy to be mediocre, it is better than being sub-normal.

I would be interested to hear from people who have reason to believe that they are a cut above ordinary people.

Any superior beings out there?

You're a very brief, very tiny mass/energy event. Enjoy your day.

I'm unique, not as special as I sometimes talk myself up, am focused intently on the spiritual side, but some know more than me.

Rumi. Hafiz. St. Francis of Assisi. Ramakrishna Paramhamsa. Srt Aurobindo. Ramana Maharshi. Baal Shem Tov. And many others known and unknown.

But not me.

What makes those people superior beings?

My dexterous hands with opposable thumbs make me superior as I can open the cans.
Otoh, the cats are faster, more nimble, have better eye sight and hearing ...

There's a big spectrum between "superior beings" and "mediocre". It's not black and white.

Think about your entire makeup of atoms.

Where each atom was formed, where each atom linked with , your true age based on your atoms.

Those stories go well beyond superior.

There are a few scientists who absolutely dazzle me with their smarts. Karl Friston is one. That guy is so much smarter than me that I'll never know how much smarter than me he is. If that makes sense.
