Basically, you'd like to experience being an infant again? That's actually a good practice for mindfulness. Seeing the world as a newborn.

Or a wanderer. A nomad is constantly seeing things for the first time too.

I try to look at things in the world that way. Take awe in a sunset or rise. Love the moon. Smell the wind. And just be present as if everything is fresh and different.

Hee.

In my flying dreams, I'm in the woods, running down a hill, flapping my arms in long powerful strokes. And then, I just lift off.

So, it would be like that.

I like the flying dreams :)

Never had a dream like that. Sounds awesome. Most of my dreams that I am in a forest, I tend to be running from wolves. I was probably killed that way in a former life (attacked and killed by wolves).

A Fool perhaps?

We're all fools. :p

(You would think the dog would know better though)

In my Tarot deck they are actually referred to as the "Wanderer". Which is more in line with your previous comment :)

Most probably not. It is a fairytale that wolves attack humans. Wenn they don't avoid us, they are very friendly.
But then, if you were a rabbit in a former life ...

Modern wolves maybe.

But I doubt a few thousand years ago, that was always the case.

Like dire wolves for instance.

Hmmm....

I'd see what it's like to be neurotypical. Just for once. Neurotypical folk are so weird. I am happy as autistic but it'd be interesting to find out just how different the thought process is

I mean since everything would go back to normal the next day. I would never permanently want to be nonautistic.

A few tens of thousands years ago humans and wolves hunted together and shared their food, thus, over time, breeding dogs. Wolves were the first animals being domesticated.

I know that.

But like anything else. There is more to the story. Like when US settlers in the 1800s competed with wolves for deer and elk, the wolves eventually started killing human's livestock. And we hunted them to near extinction.

I'm sure there were events of wolves attacking humans and potentially killing them then, and in our deep past.

That's so awesome! I have dreams like that, too, except I just float. I can essentially go where ever while floating, and at fast speeds with direction. And I always know I'm dreaming when it happens, and I try to consciously go through the steps of what I'm doing so I can repeat it and float when I wake up... but it never works. :(

Yep, when humans attacked first or otherwise made them angry. Or the wolves had rabies. But it keeps being an unlikely event.

Experience a day-long dream where I have nothing at all, that way when the next day comes I will be extremely grateful for everything that I have. (not that I'm not already, but it'd just be like "Damn screw all those other desires, I can't believe I own an iPhone from 2019!"

I always try to go fast in my dreams, and I get stuck in imaginary muck. No matter how hard and fast I run, it's like I'm sinking calf deep in sludge.
