Did you know that the term ''Apocalypse'' means ''The fall of the flesh'' ??
......and if ''man'' is supposedly made of ''flesh'' ..., could that mean the ''fall'' of man...??? and thus remain nothing but his ''spirit''??? i once read the bible clearly stating....'''...and God is a spirit''...maybe thats what it will rise up eventually, the soul.... or the spirit, the essence,.... the ''God'' within.

Isn't there a difference between Christian and Christian in name only?

Didn't Jesus forewarn 'many' would come in his name but prove false?
Matthew chapter seven.

Mathew is a good start for you, as Mathew 7:1-2 states...
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Jesus was talking about personal judgment of another person, not judging whether Scripture is right or wrong.

One should judge their beliefs in the light of Scripture by placing their beliefs along side of the Scriptures to see if things are really found in Scripture as the people of Acts [17v11] did.

Didn't Jesus judge the religious leaders using Scripture? Mark 7v7,13; Matthew 15v9; 4v4, and Jesus gave the reasons for the 'woes' he judged against them in the 23rd chapter of Matthew.

The Greek word " apokalypsis" denotes an uncovering or disclosure.
So the English word "Revelation" means a revealing or disclosing of spiritual matters regarding God's will or purpose.

'Rise up' in the sense of resurrection in Scripture refers to both a heavenly resurrection and an earthly resurrection.
The soul that sins dies according to Ezekiel 18vs4,20.
Since one can not resurrect oneself or another we need someone that can resurrect mankind. Jesus can and he will.
Consider too that the sheep-like people of Matthew [25v32] are alive at the time right before Jesus 1000-year reign over earth. Those sheep-like ones can remain alive and keep right on living right into the start of Jesus millennial reign with the prospect of never having to die but have everlasting life in view on a paradisaic earth as originally offered to Adam before his fall into sin.
-Rev 21vs4,5.

The dead that are Not resurrected to heavenly rule with Jesus [Rev 5vs9,1-;20v6] are resurrected on earth during Jesus 1000-year reign over earth [Acts 24v15] with the prospect of never dying again as the prophet Daniel looked forward.
-Dan. 12vs2,13; Ecc 9v5; Psalm 6v5;13v3; 115v17; 146v4; John 11vs11-14.

I am well aware of what your christ figure is attributed with saying, and it is no suprise that you would miss the intention either.

You constantly judge other people, catagorizing them as "not real Christians", so to speak.

And I am well aware of how hypocritical your scriptures make your Christ out to be as well.

If a persons beliefs are placed alongside of Jesus teachings and they match up and are followed then a person is a real or genuine Christian.
-John 13vs34,35; Matthew 24v14.

What would you call someone who was "Christian" in name only?
One's own 'fruit' shows where one really stands.-Matt 7v20-23

If a person was being arrested for being a Christian as outlined by Jesus words shouldn't there be enough evidence to convict that person?
Without enough Christ-like behavior [fruit] one should not be convicted as a Christian or follower of Christ.

There are over a thousand Christian denominations in North America alone.

When you people figure out exactly what your Christ's teachings are, get back to me on who "acts like a Christian".

Its obvious, that the world will end, in Ragnorak, Odin will die, then Fenir (I think thats his name) will then fight the serpant, that decends from the sky, ask the Meso-American gods, come to reclaim the earth. The Imperial Court of Heavan won't stand for this, so the Jade Emperor's armies shall descend! Then Jesus is gonna be all like "WTF?!" and then he is gonna send his army of angels, into some kind of attriction war, against all these pagan forces. So the gods shall via for believers, with posters that say things like "Jesus needs you!"

ok..., let say its ''revealed knowladge'' and not ''The fall of the flesh'' ....i think you would still have learned something new if your ''flesh'' just started to ''fall'' out of your body.. you agree??

I [Jesus] am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I [Jesus] have loved you, that you also love one another. By this [Christ-like love] all will know that you are my [Jesus] disciples, if you have love among yourselves.- John 13vs34,35.

The definition of Christ-like love is defined at 1st Cor 13 vs4-6 as love that is long-suffering and kind. Not jealous, not brag, get puffed up, not behave indecently, not become provoked, not keep account of the injury, not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. Jesus believed [John 17v17] that the Bible is 'religious truth' and based his teachings on it and not on men's traditions outside of Scripture.
So genuine Christians would Not have the selfish distorted form of love described at 2nd Timothy 3vs1-5,13 but the Christ-like love defined at 1st Corinthians.

You can quote scriptures all day long supporting your personal views.

So can someone else with a conflicting view.

There are well over a thousand Christian sects alone, each and every one claiming to know the "right" way, just like you are above.

You can claim you have the inside track all you wish, but my comment still stands.

East vs. West in the Apocolypse?

A western (romantic language) "christian" country just overthrew a middle eastern non-religioun favoring state. There were no monopolistic theocracies.

The western (romantic) "christian" world has one concept distinguishing its corruption.

The tax-exempt status of its own churches.

Does Armageddon translate to America anyone?

Apocalypse actually means revealing of something hidden.
The book of Revelation (synonymous with apocalypse) is the revelation of Christ and what is to take place in the future -centering/focusing on him.

This includes a battle which will take place in the valley of Meggido -or "Armageddon". Those armies gathered in the valley of Meggido will not include the forces of the United States and its close allies -though they will be gathered there because Jerusalem will have been central to the cause of the tribulation which ends soon after. Jerusalem is already a "burdensome stone" and "cup of trembling" as prophesied. Israel/Jerusalem are prophesied to be attacked by "gentile" forces for a duration of 42 months -essentially its enemies nearby with aid from others. It's "western" allies will be attacked almost simultaneously -and more fiercely -by resurgent Nazis which will control the EU (the EU was their brainchild -look it up) -who may also employ/facilitate terrorists groups against us. Radical Islam will push at the EU, the EU will pass over them as a whirlwind on their way to the holy land. Russia/China will have joined the fray against the EU. The EU, Russia, China, and some locals will be the main players at the time. They will be gathered into the valley of Meggido to fight each other. Then Christ will return -at the Mount of Olives (which will have been cloven by an earthquake) in power and glory. The armies of the earth will turn from Meggido and attempt to make war with him -and he will overcome them.

.....which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty........Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains;

I will post other related scripture later -have stuff to do -but that's WWIII -short version.
9-11, Afghanistan -especially our being drawn into Iraq -are essenitially the beginnings of what Christ called "great tribulation" -but the US, Britain, Australia, etc... will not be involved in "armageddon".
