But not in the prisons of other countries (for example UK), where the irreligious tend to be slightly overrepresented
I have no reason to think they believe Jesus who said for example:
but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
Matt. 18:6
If person believes Jesus, he doesn't act like servant of Satan.
Yes, because I think it is stupid to make simple things unnecessarily complicated.
Yet countless Christians do and have, the bible seems to relish depicting such acts, enthusiastically encouraged by a deity of course. If that deity were perfect, then one would marvel at the change of heart alone. How could one abuse anyone, if he believes Jesus who said that people should love others and not do anything that they would not want to be done to them? (No one wants anything to be done to them against their will).
Christians don't honour the Sabbath either (except the SDAs, arguably). The decalogue of Exodus 20. Skeptics don't honor the Sabbath, are free to commit adultery, covet, lie, etc.
Ohh... so you wouldn't classify murder as a sin?Since atheists don't believe in sin, this is a rather meaningless observation. How can one do commit a sin when it doesn't exist?
Are you sure?
"Approximately 35.2 thousand prisoners in England and Wales identified as being Christian in 2021, the most of any religious faith among prisoners. A further 24.5 thousand identified as having no religion, while 13.7 thousand identified as Muslims."
"More than half (53%) of the British public now describe themselves as having “no religion”, up from 48% in 2015. The proportion of non-believers has increased gradually since the survey began in 1983, when the proportion saying they had no religion stood at 31%."
Are you suggesting Jesus did not believe in repentance?
If that were true, the Catholic Church wouldn't have its predator priest scandal.
It is if you use the government's own data compared to the census:

In another thread, someone shared their opinion to me.
A "believer" is less likely to r*** / assault his wife was the opinion.
Tell me your opinion. In general, is a believer less likely to "sin" or act immorally?
Nope. People are people.
Now, what they see as a sin...or even a 'sin'...is going to differ, and that might impact.
You'll also run into some level of No True Scotsmen fallacy, I'll guarantee it.
No, they just know how to hide it better.
No true Christian will sin. It sounds good but it doesn't quite work that way but Christians will sin less generally than other people.
Obviously not, which bit of I don't believe sin exists is confusing you?Ohh... so you wouldn't classify murder as a sin?
Interesting and scary!Obviously not, which bit of I don't believe sin exists is confusing you?
So your claim is that no Christian ever commits adultery, and that no non-Christian has any moral objection towards it?
Gerraway, the bible claims non-believers are less moral? What a non shocker.
What percentage of atheists are homophobic compared to theists I wonder? What percentage are racist? As for violent crimes like murder and rape, there is longstanding research in the US demonstrating that atheists imprisoned for such crimes are at a lower percentage than in the general population.
Christians don't honour the Sabbath either (except the SDAs, arguably).
Skeptics also aren't beholden to the idea that a wife is property that could be coveted.
