Are Even Half Of Cops Honest...Not Corrupt?

This bad cop (LA County Sheriff) is a Lieutenant
& a supervisor....he trains & supervises many
cops beneath him. Yet he has a lengthy record
of violence, & is kept on the force.
At all levels, there are no good cops here.

Man steps outside to eat, doing nothing illegal.
This bothers a cop.
Sgt Kunovich approaches man, detains, searches, & arrests him.
More cops show up to beat & tase him.
Kunovich later dies of heart attack.
Sheriff's office publicly lies about the interaction to protect the blue,
eg, claiming the motel where man stayed is closed.
Cops & supporters pray for & lament the loss of the violent thug, Kunovich.
Victim is charged with murder.

I'd say I'd hope that papers gets served pig flambe on a silver platter in court, but
, ya know, that whole qualified immunity bull**** and a Supreme Court that likes to assume guilt until we're proven innocent.

No doubt. The kid of one of those wankers gets paralyzed at the hands of a cop and that will be the end of qualified immunity. Then we'll all be having some piggy pie if departments don't immediately reform and all the known liabilities permanently banned from being a cop. Of course we'd have a terrible shortage of cops, but with bullies gone and piblic accountabiliylty amd trust restored they might just find people want to be cops again and the shortage probably wouldn't be long.
