Are you afraid of death??

dgirl1986

Big Queer Chesticles!
The only part of death that I fear, is how I will actually die. Not a fan of pain. I see after death as another adventure. I fear life more than I fear death.

4 - people that are not afraid to think about death
5- people that are not afraid of death
6- people who think they satisfied god
That makes another three so that makes your OP just so much pish.

7- people who have died and have come back to life :D

Being part of group 7 pretty much takes the fear out of it....

Alsalam aleikum and hello everyone
there are 3 kinds of people reactions towards death:
1-people that are afraid even to think about death
2-people that are afraid of death because they had done bad things and want to do good deeds
3-finally the finest people who they know they did everything they can to satisfy God..
so..which kind are you?

And then there's me. I look forward to living to a ripe old age, of at least to 100 years old, and then quietly taking a bow before shuffling off this mortal coil or something a bit more dramatic, like exploding in the midst of a sky-dive. Either way, seeing life on "the other side" is a very exciting prospect

You get used to it? You die and come back to life often?

4 times so far. I'm not sure why I'm able to do this and others are not, but I'm not complaining :D

Note: it is not without reprocusions, now my hair and teeth routinely fall out and I'm running on 4/5ths of a heart and need to take a bunch of pills :D

BTW: when I stated "you get used to it" I was refering to the differences between existance in the physical life and the afterlife, not that you get used to dieing.

do you mean that after we die..nothing happens...i mean there are people did the worst things you could ever imagine and others who had good deeds and served humanity and when both dies...nothing??? no punishments?no rewards?
Nope. We Christians are good to go, due to God's grace through Jesus. We don't have to worry about "punishments and rewards."

I actually look forward to death; but not in a suicidal way. I have died in my life already more than once and know what to expect, so yeah, I can say I look forward to being in the Pristine Existence once again:angel2:

It kind of makes you feel like you are "between" existences don't it?

I agree and the ones that destroyed a country based on lies after that are less than fine and ready it seems to destroy another based on rumour while actively in the middle of destroying one and trying to 'intervene' in another.

very busy those un fine people and I guess it's not going to get any better after this week ends
...and those who invaded Kuwait, killed their own citizens, took innocent hostages and killed several innocents in embassies -- some apparently over a movie, blahblahblahblahblah.

Politics is a dirty business, no matter how one slices it. People are largely hateful toward those they don't understand -- everywhere. So what?

I fail to see what any of this diatribe has to do with the OP.
I know people who believe that the idea of God is not only waste of time, but actually harmful -- and they're not afraid of death. Don't they count?

You are aware that Hell is in the Third Ring of Heaven don't you? So Even if you go to Heaven, you may still go to Hell:areyoucra; just food for thought;)

Mostly 1. Since I dont believe in an afterlife, I dont like the idea of dying because I dont want to cease to exist. Wouldnt go so far as saying I am scared of even thinking about it, but I am pretty scared of it.

I dont think there is anything but ancient mens mythology ultimately influenced from early Mesopotamian and Egyptian's, that would leed us to believe that.

How can you discount the Scientific evidence of Energy; which does not "die" but manipulates in the way it transfers itself (it gets a new "job"). Maybe the better argument here would be if consciousness is given passage of existence in Death, would it not>?

im sorry, but when you die, so does your brain which powers your conscious

energy is not alive and takes such form as a rock or toothpaste, however people die and their energy is dead, and returns to dirt.

scientifically a soul does not exist

Really!? Biodegridation is a small part of Energy transference in which occurs upon Human Death. Toothpaste and Rock Energies are nothing more than "Atomical Energies" but what of "Photonic Energy" or "Electromagnetic Energy"? Just because something does not have tangible evidence of its existence yet, does not mean it never will;).
