The Buddha's not a prophet, nor was he sent by a god. He's neither an intermediary nor a savior, nor did he possess a secret message.

The only thing which makes the Buddha stand out is that he simply observed Reality & it's Laws, and pointed them out for everyone else to see directly for ourselves too.

Hello everybody.this question to all members of RF whatever their faiths (theists or atheists)

I just want to know which more, the believers or disbelievers in God in RF community,how much percentage.

1- Do you believe there would be hereafter (hell/heaven)
2- Do you believe God will judge us for our deeds (good/evil) ?
3- Do you believe God sent messengers to humanity ?

There must be a God first hand in order to relate with people.

I voted no but I wish I hadn't. The language of the poll is either accidentally or deliberately oversimplified something I just don't believe is simple.
Suffice it to say I'm unconvinced any gods or souls or spirits exist, but I don't claim certain knowledge my belief is correct (substance monist agnostic atheist).

I see God in Creation! Creation is not fair. Nothing lasts forever. Things happen with no regard for our human wishes. Everything is part of gigantic cycles of beginning and ending. But nothing ever really begins or ends, everything keeps changing from one thing to another and then another ......
Humans, with their tiny little minds and knowledge want to believe that they know more and are more in control than they are. So we make up fictional God images and fervently believe.
But those God images aren't any more real than the characters in any other fictional story or book.
They just aren't, or the human situation would be very different from what it is.

I'd call that a response to suffering.

We suffer (e.g. at the thought of dying, injustice, hunger, sleepiness, etc.), and so we seek out gods/saviors, judges, food, sleep, etc. to ease that suffering.

I have some notes/questions.

1- If God did not judged us,so how the victimes of oppression get their rights ?
2- Whats the purpose of this life ?
3- Why you think for SURE He just created us and neglect us just to make temporary fun or to kill each other or so son...etc , could not be you wrong and very optimistic ?

They don't. Creation isn't fair.
That is why I am so big on moral behavior. There is no God who cares about what happens to us. We have to do that for ourselves or it just won't happen.

There is no inherent purpose. Purpose is something we give to things.
If your life is to have purpose then you must give it the purpose. You must decide to do or be something and then follow through or your life will be purposeless.

Because that's the way Creation works.
I am not particularly optimistic. I think that the human race is going to choose to end itself by dying in it's own effluent, the same way that the yeast in a bottle of wine do. We'll choke ourselves on carbon dioxide and plastic and toxic waste, while we kill off most of the other living things we need to survive. We'll do it slowly, and nobody will do anything about it because it won't ever be in their immediate best interests. That is the way Creation works and there is no God who cares or will change it for us.

Either we take care of each other, or it won't happen. And I see no reason to think we will change that much before we off ourselves.

I believe God exists.
1. There is a hereafter, but it isn't Heaven or Hell.
2. I believe you will reap what you sow. The Bible says Jesus was handed judging, but that he doesn't judge.

I don't understand the first two parts of your question.
But the last part is no. Creation isn't fair. That's just how it is.
And since Creation is all we know about God, there's no reason to think God values fairness either. We humans do, sometimes, but God doesn't.

Humans give purpose to things. God doesn't.
God just is, and His Creation just is. If we want to give things purpose we can. But God is not a human.

No. He created all kinds of stuff. From sand to galaxies and all the empty space in between. To think that we are special to God is hubris. We are a tiny bit of sapient matter on a tiny speck of a planet orbiting an ordinary star.
If we are to be cared about, we must do it for ourselves and each other or it just won't happen.
That is the foundation of morality. There is no God who will fix things later. We have to do it or it won't get done at all.

I know that you believe that. But I don't think that there is a reason to believe it except for wishful thinking. Nobody has ever given me a reason.
