The way I see it, Quintessence meant to underscore that not all deities are suitable to belief as such.
And I pointed out to all beliefs God "versions"
So beliefs sacred the fire and cows.I see no problem.

Thanks guys. I think I'm starting to understand where the critics are coming from. You all have to keep in mind with me that I'm a deep thinker that to some, (and on some occasions even by my own measure) overthinks things. I see lots of nuances, gray areas, and complexity... largely because this is what my observations of the world tell me. I go past denotation of words to look at connotations, which vary by culture and even local regions... aim to be mindful of that.

I acknowledge that you attempted to be inclusive, but your list is hardly complete.

In truth, there is a literal miriad of deities, even once one decides to restrict oneself to any given name. It is very much necessary to consider the specific religious person's understanding and conception before a deity can be truly defined.

You probably disagree, but that is how it is far as can honestly tell.

Neither do I. I do however find it misleading to assume that there are objectively definided deities without the input of the specific person.

Here is a part of the problem. These sentences don't actually make sense.
I try to figure out what you mean when you post. Sometimes I just can't, but often I can. So those are the ones I respond to.
I think your English is amazingly good, for being your third language. But it gets murky when you post about subtle things and people get confused sometimes.
Sometimes your sentences do make sense, but they don't mean what you think that they do. I know you well enough to usually figure it out. I still think you are smart and brave posting here and I am glad you do.

If I am to be brutally honest about it, the question does not actually make sense.

We do not believe in Gods as such. We build them if we are inclined to do so.

So you choose to vote NO in poll.
Because my relationship with the concept of deities is so safely outside the boundaries of what could be called or even misconstrued as "belief".

Does not make "belief" any more natural or sensible a relationship with those concepts, though. And it certainly does not imply that anyone who has use for such a concept will necessarily "believe" in them as opposed to choosing to build them consciously and, if they feel like it, changing and destroying them (as not too few people do).

Actually, it didn't. I ignored that part about God being a fictional character from ancient literature and voted "yes".
Tom
I understand your view of God , I disagree with it :)

Your version of God had no control/judge on us now or later.

it's version of atheism, then.

That isn't exactly correct.
My version of God simply is The Creator. The Creation simply is as well, operating just as it was made.
My version of God doesn't change His mind about things based on what humans do or believe like the Abrahamic gods do.

You are critizises others beliefs.

Not describing much how you deal with God. and avoiding controling or judgement for our deeds ?

I point out what I think irrational and human fiction.
Allah appears more like a 7th century warlord than Almighty All Knowing God. The sort of god image I would expect from 7th century followers of Muhammad. I see the same thing in all the Abrahamic religions, a god image that resembles the humans who invented Him.
That's why He's always male, because women didn't have much input. :)

I see no reason to think God judges monkeys or stars or humans or anything like that. We judge things, because we have such limited perceptions and intellectual powers. God doesn't have those limitations.

1- Do you believe there would be hereafter (hell/heaven)
2- Do you believe God will judge us for our deeds (good/evil) ?
3- Do you believe God sent messengers to humanity ?

I made a poll , so please VOTE :)
note: I intentionally don't add "I DON'T KNOW" option, to get specific/final decisions.

Well I can't vote on either cause its feels too arrogant of me to choose either. I have no proof that god does or doesn't exist, so why should I pretend that I do know? Say he does exist, with this he could definitely get me with the "bearing false witness" bit since I genuinely do not know.

1. Well I hope there is a Heaven. I'm sorta at odds with myself though about Hell (Partly against cause it makes no sense for a loving god to create such a horrible place and partly for because of people like Hitler, Himmler, basically those seriously bad examples of human kind). But even if neither isn't real, honestly with everything I've seen already with my own eyes, I'm not worried about the "after life" (seen & communicated with spirits & other entities to pretty much tell me there isn't "nothing" after you die).

2. If he exists, then I bet he will. Really if he does judge everyone, I hope its based on our actions an deeds rather than being about our church stuff.
And just in case, if you ask "is my destination going to be Heaven/Hell" personally no idea. If he judges me inevitably, I'd rather he tells me than me placing false hope in myself.

3. Probably did, but also Humanity could have gotten the message wrong. Back then for instance, you say you're a Healer who is using nature itself to heal people (technically Jesus-like), people instead hear "witch, evil, etc" and if you could do things that were impossible to people back in ancient times, they'll auto-assume your godliness an start making rituals surrounding you even if you told them "don't worship me".
Also as the Bible has shown, mankind has a habit of disobeying God, so seriously how could the Bible be immune to that habit? It can't.

But did he send messengers? Probably, I dunno. Personally, he should resend them during this time but in visible form (no inspirational or psychic email, I mean undeniable "Holy **** thats an Angel!" to where hundreds can see it regardless of their stances on whatever beliefs).
