Arkansas inflicts child abuse on its school children

The straw man is a fallacy in which an opponent's argument is overstated or misrepresented in order to be more easily attacked or refuted. The technique often takes quotes out of context or, more often, incorrectly paraphrases or summarizes an opponent's position. Then after "defeating" the position, the attacker claims to have beaten the real thing.

When people take parts of Scripture and assign God’s character to these, without considering the context and the rest of Scripture, they get a false view of God. Then they beat up on their straw man. That’s what a few people are doing here

Nope. It is rather clear that is not the case. Do you need another example of almost the same thing. What the verse shows was just one example of how the Bible often treated women as just property.

No, they are too correct for you. You cannot refute them since you would have to prove me right by only cherry picking Bible verses again.
They are ignorant comments because you say you understand the Bible but don’t know the difference between works and what makes a person righteous in God’s eyes. You’re stumbling

You will have to apply why you believe Lot was offering his daughters by faith to these perverted men of Sodom and why you believe God was calling Lot righteous because of that act.
What are you talking about?

You need to try again because all our works are filthy rags in God’s sight. If you can’t agree on the clear teaching of Scripture then don’t bother talking to me.The Scripture isn’t out of context.
James 2:14-26

You made the claim "all our works are filthy rags in Gods sight"
You then claimed that your claim "all our works are filthy rags in Gods sight" is "clear teaching of Scripture".

James 2:14-26 shows you are just plain flat out wrong on both counts.

There are different “works” in the Bible and if a person is seeking to be righteous by the works they do, those works are filthy rags in God’s sight. In the context of Lot and his daughters seems you are saying that God considered that a righteous act and that’s absurd and wrong.

Nope, you do not need to believe the myths of the Bible to understand it. You keep demonstrating that. Believers very often only think that they understand the Bible when in reality they just abuse it to get it to say what they want it to say. They ignore the verses that disagree with them Bible smorgasbord.

Now you are back peddling.

See, you flat out stated "all":

You need to try again because all our works are filthy rags in God’s sight.
{Emphasis mine}

There is no me saying anything about works in the Lot and his daughters context.

Make up your mind...why did God say righteous Lot? I told you what I meant by all our works are like filthy rags and you didn’t understand or get what I was saying. This is a basic understanding of works for a baby believer. Yet you smart people don’t get it. Maybe this will help.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you understand why James was talking about in chapter 2?

A recent post from someone:
How does your god view women?

With utter disrespect
Genesis 19
8Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes
As prizes to be given to victorious soldiers just like sheep and asses.
Are you overlooking the second part of my Bible quotes intentionally? Ya know, the one about the virgins being divided up among the victorious soldiers. By today's standards that would be a war crime. I guess your omniscient God didn't foresee humans making better moral decisions than He made.

Also, if you are going to quote me, then quote me. Don't say "someone".

Yes Lot did that

Finally!
If you had read my post, you would have seen Lot's name prominently mentioned in the biblical quote.

If you really knew that, why did you keep asking who was handing out his daughters? I knew. I reread the verses before I posted them. Didn't you? Is this another incident of atheists being more familiar with the Bible than the Christian? Or, is this just something you didn't want to accept about your god and his chosen spokespeople.
