Arrogance of religion

Good. Watch and learn. You may wish to approach this forum with an open mind and realize you may have something to learn. even petty individuals like myself, Only a fool thinks they have learned everything there is to learn.

Of course. I apologize for my ability to read and comprehend.
Good, although I would say inability because you still didn't get the message. Should be more apologetic for posing as if you can speak for everybody and how they receive things

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
It does not imply that you personally or anybody else not willing for that matter will become the students.
It certainly implies that you think you are above us, that you are the teacher.
It is up to each of them if they are willing to ask and learn and accept words of wisdom or not.
OMG You really should listen to yourself sometime.
As of now you are attempting to teach the teacher as if to put yourself on an even higher level. Spot the projections you spit out and the hypocrisy and just lose your weird ego
Oh, I make no claim to be a teacher in here. I'm here for discussion, which involves mutual sharing. I actually really hate just listening to myself talk. I look upon these sort of debate forums as a case of "iron sharpens iron," that in the process of debate, truth is more likely to emerge. I love how the discussions in here force me to examine more carefully what I think and why I think it. And I love how it exposes me to new ideas, and new lines of reasoning. While I do have a very high bar for what I consider evidence and what I consider rational, I actually DO listen to what others say, and have actually made changes to my beliefs in response.

Here is what I do NOT listen to: people who think I should adopt their ideas for no other reason than that they are "the teacher."

But furthermore, if it did end I believe that it could come back as many think there was no existence before and it came into being so if it was possible once then I don't see why it won't be possible again. And in the lapse where there ceases to be existence then it wouldn't matter much because when existence came back into being it would feel like a brief nap I would imagine since it would not have been aware of itself not existing and if it was then it was both existing and not existing the whole time so I'd argue that the failure to exist at all would be Impossible if existence was conscious in its non existing state

Or it could just change like reverting back to an earlier time but I would still consider that as an ending.

Please do not put words in my mouth or speak to my thoughts or beliefs. To assume you know how I think is a power that I believe to be much greater than being a "teacher". You have many teachers in your life if you are willing. And for someone who hates to hear themselves speak you sure do talk alot and offer up your opinion alot without being called on to do so. You may want to avoid typing at all from here on out if you truly do hate to hear yourself.

Your ending statement is very similar to religion in my opinion. We should take these words written down seriously simply because he is God. But carry on trying to prove a point about somebody you have just met and already labeled them many things and most likely will continue to do so.

You would but would the people experiencing it feel that way. As far as I know existence always occurs, even nothingness is a state of existence in my opinion. But the important part to humans seems to be if the existence is being perceived and acknowledged and experienced in the sense that we experience our own reality and world

Yes, which has absolutely nothing to do with forgiveness.

I'm glad you agreed with me. It's still very frustrating trying to follow someone's thoughts when they are not presenting them in a logical manner.

I'm speaking from experience, not logic.
You have to take it on faith, you shouldn't, but to understand, that's what you got to do.
Trying to understand people's faith from a point of logic. Good luck with that.

Speak for yourself or risk being terribly wrong. "To understand that's what you got to do".

I have understood people's faith from a point of logic many times.

The words ending and changing have philosophical differences. No big deal.

@IamYourYahaweh
Is your God material or immaterial, providing you have one?
To me it is embodied in many physical material forms at least from my perspective so in a way it is both but when I imagine it I imagine something immaterial because anytime I have felt it's presence or been in contact or felt that way I have realized it is far too big and poweful for me to ever even begin to try and understand or want to

I didn't say it did, practice not speaking for others, then maybe you'll learn
Um, actually you did. But I've already invested way more time in this discussion than it deserves. I have already twice quoted what you said. If you are interested, you can scroll back. If you aren't interested, that's fine too. I'm moving on.

Please show me those quotes that are not your own wording and don't suffer from drastic paraphrasing. Find the quotes and prove to me this amazing point you consider to try and drive home
