If you had read back to some of my previous posts, that's exactly what I was saying. The names do not change. The translation of the names is what changes.
Right back at ya, slick. So what? You disagree with everyone.
Right back at ya, slick.
That is wrong.Absolutely false, and you would never be able to convince a single Christian or Jewish theologian of the above since it is abundantly clear that names have been changed at times in both testaments.
You're just trolling.That is wrong.

I agree with you.you wrote..
Then you wrote this. Which, seems to be contradicting what you stated earlier.
So, who founded the Catholic church?
Are you saying that the church that Jesus founded, was the Catholic church?
Who is the rock, on which the ''church'' (we don't know what your talking about when you say that at this point), was built?
Catholicism just meant "universal" when it was initially used to describe the Christian Church in its entirety.I agree with you.
Jesus built no church and named no denomination with the name Catholicism.

So, neither Jesus founded any religion and named it "Christianity" nor he erected any " Church" nor he founded any denomination called "Catholicism". Then where all of them have come to surface?Catholicism just meant "universal" when it was initially used to describe the Christian Church in its entirety.
This link will explain how Christ founded the Church:So, neither Jesus founded any religion and named it "Christianity" nor he erected any " Church" nor he founded any denomination called "Catholicism". Then where all of them have come to surface?
Anybody, please

This says that st. Peter founded the church. This link will explain how Christ founded the Church:
https://www.ewtn.com/faith/teachings/churb1.htm
This excerpt will explain how the Catholic Church is that Church:
The early Church was structured in a hierarchical manner as it is today. We see in Acts, chapter 15 how the apostles and the elders came together under the leadership of St. Peter to decide the question of what was required of Gentiles. We also see how St. Peter was regarded as the head of the Church when St. Paul, "Went up to Jerusalem to confer with Kephas [Peter] and remained with him fifteen days." (Galatians 1:18) There is no Scriptural evidence of independent local churches.
The Catholic Church is the only church that can claim to have been founded by Christ personally. Every other church traces its lineage back to a mere human person such as Martin Luther or John Wesley. The Catholic Church can trace its lineage back to Jesus Christ who appointed St. Peter as the first pope. This line of popes has continued unbroken for almost 2,000 years.
God rules, instructs and sanctifies His people through His Church. Under her teaching office, the Catholic Church preserves the Word of God. She is the custodian, keeper, dispenser and interpreter of teachings of Christ. And she accomplishes this under the protection of the Holy Spirit.
So, neither Jesus founded any religion and named it "Christianity" nor he erected any " Church" nor he founded any denomination called "Catholicism". Then where all of them have come to surface?

We have already been through this in this thread but I will summarize:This says that st. Peter founded the church.
But, Jesus didn't end up building the church, Peter did. Sure, maybe Jesus claimed he would, but in actuality, it was Peter who founded it, right? We have already been through this in this thread but I will summarize:
Jesus gave the authority to Peter which founded the Church.
"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it"
But, Jesus didn't end up building the church, Peter did. Sure, maybe Jesus claimed he would, but in actuality, it was Peter who founded it, right?
No, I believe that. But, I certainly don't think that means that Jesus founded the church. Peter did in Jesus' name.Well, of course we believe that Jesus worked through Peter through the Holy Spirit to build it and you obviously don't so we run into a little disagreement here.
No, I believe that. But, I certainly don't think that means that Jesus founded the church. Peter did in Jesus' name.
Can you agree from a historical perspective?Okay, I see your point. I just don't agree with it.
