Assuming Evolution is True, are the human beings in general getting more and more
intellignet or less and less intelligent with the passage of generations? Please support
your argument with concrete reasoning and evidence.
You really don't need to go back very far to know that we are definitely more intelligent, but then we have the benefits of hindsight, of learning from our predecessors, an education system, book publishing, and translated works.
The prolific collection and recording of learning materials means skills and learning will no longer be lost or passed on inaccurately.
If you look at a timeline of scientific discoveries you would be hard pressed to say educationally we were going backward.
Until our genetic manipulation technology has improved considerable and we are able to apply this technology globally it will likely have little effect. Even then such technology is little proof against many other unpredictable events in our future such as climate change and the like.
We can't predict in advance what environments we will need to adapt ourselves too.
