Atheism makes no sense. You cannot get something from nothing without a God.

Seriously. Something cannot come from nothing without a God. Evolution is a myth.
Atheism (including agnosticism) isn't about making sense to me.
Tis simply that the alternatives are contradictory &/or unsupportable.
As for what came from what, I prefer ignorance to invention of magical origins.
Evolution....been there & discussed that.

I guess you are relatively new to this board and to this debate. So we need to educate you on a couple very simple basic points.

1. Evolution is not atheism. There are many theists who accept evolution. In fact in North America at least the vast majority of those who accept evolution also believe in “God”.

2. Science makes no statements either way about the existence of God. The theory of evolution is no different in this respect. The theory of evolution is no more related to the topic of “God” than the theory of gravity is.

Please try to understand these things. Because we find ourselves repeating these things over and over and over again and often gets very frustrating.

All atheists believe in evolution, because there is no God or gods according to them.

Most atheist accept the theory of evolution.
Most atheists accept the theory of gravity.
Most atheist believe that the world is round and that it orbits around the sun.

Most atheists believe these things because the evidence indicates that these things are true.

Back to the original post, who is there to say that there was at one time nothing? Maybe there has always been something. May it's God, maybe it's not, or maybe it's both

The Tao has always been and shall always be. There was no beginning and there will be no end. It existed before the Universe and birthed it into being and all things have evolved freely from it yet it claims no ownership nor accomplishment. It is because it is without thought of self that it is long enduring and it is because it flows everywhere into everything that it is all accepting. It is everything and it is nothing.

No gods involved.

The thing these things have in common is the amount of supporting evidence.
