Well, if a dead animal is no longer an animal, then since it isn't really vegetable, despite some spores here and there, that leaves mineral.and after the last breath.....
we become what we REALLY are
and it won't be animal

I was thinking the Bahamas might be nice. You are so right we will return to the earth. Unless you have some fantasy that you are doing somewhere else.
Back to dust, then?and after the last breath.....
we become what we REALLY are
and it won't be animal
I got that, my point was that their statement (or at least your interpretation of it) was fundamentally flawed which means your response to it is irrelevant.the quote you clipped was someone else's stand point....that I was describing
All humans are animals. Whether we believe, in something specific or in anything, is entirely irrelevant to this simple question. This is a basic biological fact based on the simple definition of the word animal. Your attempt to spin this is to something about belief is a theological fraud that you should be embarrassed by.so....non-believers ARE animals
and give no discretion that believers can be something more
nay.....this form we call human produces unique spirit on each occasionAll humans are animals. You’re entitled to believe that but even if it were true, it still wouldn’t change any of the characteristics that make us all animals. An animal with a soul would still be an animal.nay.....this form we call human produces unique spirit on each occasion
what happens to that spirit after your last breath makes all the difference
The belief by some in Judaism is that when the Messiah comes that we on Earth will revert back to not eating flesh again. Torah does not demand we do it now, nor do the gospels. If im correct Genesis tells us that animals have souls as well. I have to do a Hebrew word for word study to check the translations.
This is why i also ask why we are killing animals and eating them. In Genesis we did eat from the 'green herbs' (out of the top of my head), both animals and humans.
ooops......You’re entitled to believe that but even if it were true, it still wouldn’t change any of the characteristics that make us all animals. An animal with a soul would still be an animal.
sorry.....not buying thatThe belief by some in Judaism is that when the Messiah comes that we on Earth will revert back to not eating flesh again. Torah does not demand we do it now, nor do the gospels.
I was just parroting what's found in the scriptures dealing with this according to some and why they believe as such. Eating the "fatted calf" was only a concession by God after the Flood according to Genesis.sorry.....not buying that
seems there is a long standing practice of offering a fatted calf
heaven on a veggie diet?
and we have canine teeth
and the return of the Prodigal Son.....I was just parroting what's found in the scriptures dealing with this according to some and why they believe as such. Eating the "fatted calf" was only a concession by God after the Flood according to Genesis.
This is a great point.I suspect animals have social abilities, politics economics maybe even a god just not as on a grand of a scale as man.
consider the pending moment.....when you sit at the Table beside the angelic.....You don't want to think yourself as "lowly" as an animal - which is bunk.
Human beings are animals. We are part of the Great Ape family. We are, to the best of our knowledge, the only animals who currently participate in politics, economics, etc., but many other animals have various social abilities. Your feelings, beliefs, or animosity toward the idea of being mere animals does not provide any support for your argument that we are not. Human beings are most definitely animals. Belief has nothing to do with it.don't knee jerk
It came up in another thread
seems at least one member here insists that we are animals
all of us
no matter what
animals are our equals.....no matter what
we are not greater than animals .....no matter what
and I posted in return.....
to be no more than animal.....I would need to surrender
my social abilities
my politics
my economics
and my .....God
so......redirecting and redrawing the line at hand
are non-believers.....animals?
you assume too much of my feelingsHuman beings are animals. We are part of the Great Ape family. Sure. It seems like you are incorrectly assuming that for some reason a story written thousands of years ago somehow provides evidence for your argument. Am I accurate in that assumption? Btw, I would absolutely love "sharing the kingdom" with animals ... it wouldn't be "heaven" without them, imho.you assume too much of my feelings
did you note the previous post?
