But I am not changing to a non-human. I have all of their traits, and I am a replicate of what they were, a human. Second, if we all share a common ancestor as you probably believe, how the hell do you get from a snake to an elephant? There are no similar traits, and the difference is night and day. So again, voodoo science. You have to believe that animals were producing different kind of animals, something that has never been observed.

If you somehow became part of an isolated population facing special selective pressures, you could be part of changes leading to a new species. Suppose a Mars colony were cut off from earth: different gravity, day length etc. After some number of generations, the colonists could become very different.

So you have a voodoo religion? You believe that some god produced different kinds of animals, something that has never been observed? Right? :)

When people tell me "it will change over time", that is like me telling you that Jesus will return soon. If you are an unbeliever, it will seem like nonsense to you, right?

You are basically saying "No one has seen it because it takes so long to occur, but it happens"

and...

"We will never see it happen because it takes so long to happen, but it happens."

Kind of like saying "I will put a 400,000,000 in your bank account, when you die".

Have you ever been in old houses? The first thing you notice is that you have to 'duck' to get through doorways and avoid the beams. That wasn't a cost saving exercise, that was because humans have evolved to be taller in the last few hundred years, especially in the better off nations.

something that has never been observed.
While we are on the topic of things that have never been observed... Are you 6,000+ years old? Because I'm pretty sure that is the only way you would have been able to observe the Genesis creation account. Come to think of it... You wouldn't have been around to observe any of the events mentioned in the Bible. Also... When is the last time you've heard of an astronomer who has observed a golden castle floating around in outer space? Or a geologist who has discovered a flaming cave deep within the Earth's surface, where an angry red man with a pitchfork lives? I suppose these beliefs must be discarded as well... after all... we have not observed them, right?
