We will celebrate being with our family. We will celebrate the days getting longer! We will have a tree and exchange gifts. We might even sing some carols.

Probably spend time with family next to the yule tree and share gifts. Maybe play some boardgames and eat well. You do know this tradition didn't start with Christians...

As usual, I'll set up the Festivus pole this week after Thanxgiving. There will be Festivus miracles, wrestling, feats of strength, & airing of grievances.

I think I already posted in this thread, maybe last year, but we'll be spreading our Christmas out over several days as normal.
Christmas eve with my immediate family (inc. Mum and Dad, my sister and her husband and kids).
Christmas day with my wife's family. Boxing Day with my Mum's extended family (cousins, etc)

Lots of eating, lots of laughter, and hopefully not too much weirdness from my Uncle...ahem...

This is quite late, but, sadly Christmas has become less of a religious observance, and a cultural norm, where celebrating the birth of christ was replaced with gift giving (still prominent though)

is not this can be called the new/modern reformation of Christianity ?

I mean celebrate with Papa Noel instead for Jesus (pbuh)

I don't even celebrate holidays of any sort. There is nothing special about them and I get nothing from them.

Tommorow is for many a time to celebrate Jesuses birthday my quetion is,what do you do on christmas day if you are an athiest.

I'm not always an 'atheist' but I guess I sort of am in that general direction a lot of the time in recent years. Kind of depends on what mood I'm in. Anyway, usually I just relax. They give time off work around that time anyway. And I think it's a good time to try and be festive and eat good meals right along with the rest of them, I mean you can still celebrate the solstice no matter who you are. I think it's a good thing to do so.
