Avatar is from comic book called Super Market, meant to represent reflection, confusion, hopelessness.

Your avatar led me to assume you were a girl when I first saw a post of yours (which I believe was in my welcome thread).

Avatars trip me up like that. If a guy has a female avatar, it's hard for me not to assume they are female, and if a woman has a male avatar, it's hard for me to not assume they are male.

If I see a gender-neutral avatar with a bacterium or something, I assume it's a guy at first glance.

I have an odd tendency to be mesmerized by TV static. It also represents the results whenever I tried to commune with the divine. Still another meaning is as a metaphor for my contributions to conversations here, when I throw in a post completely unrelated to the topic at hand.

Originally, it was a still picture, but Kilgore Trout kindly animated it for me and did an awesome job.
