It seems an issue for you.Other than transgenders, how many others make preferred pronouns I want to be called an issue?

It seems an issue for you.Other than transgenders, how many others make preferred pronouns I want to be called an issue?
Not necessarily. And yet if they are on a name badge they are obvious and hard not to know
How is saying there are males and transgender males being disrespectful? What's that got to do with being respectful to another person?
No offense but I find that hard to accept because she doesn't need it. As you said a preferred pronoun isn't in issue with her.Of course, because guess what, it's not an issue for her.

What do you find hard to accept? It's not about her, it's about helping customers to be respectful. No offense but I find that hard to accept because she doesn't need it. As you said a preferred pronoun isn't in issue with her.
I meant the whole topic.Wrong. Preferred pronouns I want to be called isn't an issue for me.
It isn't. The disrespect is with your presumptions. How is saying there are males and transgender males being disrespectful?
Not necessarily.
One would think the names such as Sally, Mary, Debbie, Bob, Richard, Steve, etc would be a no brainer on their pronouns without having it on their name badge.
Amd yet many names you don't know.
What are my presumptions? It isn't. The disrespect is with your presumptions.

Explain to me how they would be disrespectful or why they wouldn't know she is a she without it being on her name badge. What do you find hard to accept? It's not about her, it's about helping customers to be respectful.
But the name clearly does not give the full picture. Hence the pronoun. We were taking about names being on their name badges. If the name isn't on their name badges it defeats the purpose of the name badge.
The pronouns to use. What are my presumptions?
I missed it off because it's irrelevant to the point of using badges to demonstrate preferences. You left off this part of my post...
"If a transgender male or female has a preferred prounoun, more power to them"
It is, to repeat myself, not specifically about my wife, it is a company wide matter so all customers can see the preferred staff pronouns. So no-one gets disrespected, no-one gets embarrassed, and no-one has to imagine anything.Explain to me how they would be disrespectful or why they wouldn't know she is a she without it being on her name badge.
It must be a city thing.
If they go by Sally or by Mike it shouldn't be hard to figure out what pronoun they like. Hence the name. But the name clearly does not give the full picture. Hence the pronoun.
Let me give you a scenario...The pronouns to use.
It is, to repeat myself, not specifically about my wife, it is a company wide matter so all customers can see the preferred staff pronouns. So no-one gets disrespected, no-one gets embarrassed, and no-one has to imagine anything.
It's not a city thing. It's a people thing. It is a chain of small shops located all across the country.
And, to repeat again, not everyone is called Sally or Mike. There are other names. Some of which one cannot "work out." What is the preferred pronoun of Sam? Or Chris? Or Phoenix? Or Kai? Or have a go at these:If they go by Sally or by Mike it shouldn't be hard to figure out what pronoun they like. Hence the name.
