I see myself as being above average, but not anywhere near genius-level. I am pretty lost when it comes to mathmatical stuff ( ugghhh! ), but excel in language and grammar.

I see that I am me, and they are they. My IQ is 140, what the hell does that mean? Can I build a car from the ground up? No, but I know a person of an IQ of 90 who sure can. We should not compare ourselves to others. We are not them, how can we know how we compare?

I am very insecure when it comes to intelligence. I can function in society and have excelled in many areas....but I always feel that everyone else is better. In some ways this is good, as it has kept me humble.

 Arrogant it may sound but you just don`t know the human ignorance I`m surrounded by on a daily basis.

The internet is a quite different thing though.

It seems this site is occupied by many people who I feel have a far better understanding of things than I do.

I think thats because they`ve taken the time to find this place so they obviously have a desire for knowledge and debate.

Intelligent people will always end up in a community such as this.

You are definately in the 98% of the world's population that is smarter than George W. Bush, and smarter (for that matter) than any other politician, too. The only real question is "Why do we keep electing them, if we're so smart?"

LOL - for my money, Retrorich, it would be hard NOT to be smarter than George W. Bush.

Can you pronounce the word "Nuclear"? Do you understand how a runaway deficit will ultimately result in incredible inflation? Can you see that "supply side (trickle down theory) economics" is a sham? There you go, you are smarter than the (currently) most powerful man in the world.

I know that this will hurt some feelings, but it is my honest opinion. Sorry Spinkles and Ceridwen - we just have to agree to disagree.

You are correct, NetDoc. Two reasons that I did not include "Farm Animal Stupid" -
First, I didn't think Bush was a member (although there have been a few that post here that make me wonder).
Second, if he is a member, I didn't think he'd be able to get Karl Rove to type his answer in for him.
