We have a great many state & federal prisons.
And the greatest increase was due legislation Bill Clinton signed into law.
Yet there's no evidence that he benefited financially from this.
We do have a problem with a legal system corrupted by money, but
it's primarily by lawyers rigging the system to cost as much as possible.
We have too many people in prison because that's what leaders &
voters want. And they're too wedded to the fiction that massive
incarceration is the best solution to crime. We need more of what
might be called an "outpatient program"....or "outfelon program".

It's hard to say whether we'd get better
or worse voting quality from inmates.
But why bother?
It's part of their punishment.
Of course, some might believe that letting
them vote would give their party more power.

Identitarian nonsense. Nobody is forcing anyone to commit crimes. Maybe criminals should, you know, try not committing crimes.It's proven to keep the vast majority of the population out of prison after all!

Bernie would never go that low to skim off extra votes from the incarcerated. He actually cares about murderers, rapists, and thieves among others....

Treating people like people would be better served by developing more
productive programs to both punish & train them to be better humans.
Giving them the vote is at best useless pandering.

It is fake. The actual test that goes with that picture
