Maybe but in the looks department I vote neither. I like women not men.
Then clearly you are not capable of being able to partake in such a discussion that will quickly and inevitably go above your interests.:p

Too bad Robot Chicken ruined it for me.

I think Johnny Depp is a great actor. I just do not find him attractive :D. He was awesome in Edward scissor hands a truly artsy film.

I think just about everything he was in is artsy, even Crybaby which is about one of the most odd and unusual movies I have ever seen.

Depp. I never see Johnny Depp in the movies he's in, I see the Ed Wood, Jack Sparrow, etc.

I've heard DiCaprio's acting has gotten better over the years, but he was just flat in Titanic, and in Gangs of New York, he couldn't do an Irish accent to save his life.

I don't think the two are even comparable. What they present is very different, and there is a huge gap in the kind of characters they play or the kind of qualities they project while acting.

Personally I find Johnny Depp to be much more interesting as an actor, he chooses interesting and eccentric characters and he does them very well. DiCaprio is more of a standard actor, not too many risks there, and I hardly think he can pull a Captain Jack Sparrow as Depp does.

I still think they have very different careers and atmosphere, even if they did play together in a movie 20 years ago.
DiCaprio did an excellent job acting the part of a mentally challenged young man. Depp played the more serious character. It's like Depp and DiCaprio switched their respective "type casts" for this movie, which was quite refreshing, and gives a glimpse into each actor's respective abilities.

Depp can play very serious characters, often journalists or detective roles. In general I find DiCaprio to be more single dimensional in role choice and in acting.

Weird, thing is Johnny Depp really wanted to be a rock star instead of a movie star. Then his band broke up, and awful bad acting cage advised him to purse a path in acting. btw I think Johnny Depp is the better actor but Leonardo played in my favorite movie.
