No you dithered about, you wrote lengthy sentences. You dodged, avoided, evaded etc.

This is of course the stereotypical response when someone is asked a question that challenges their faith. The funny thing is, as a i pointed out numerous times, this isn't a question about your faith or the bible. This is a question about a logical tool. I really didn't want you to pre-prime yourself to shut down. I was really respectful and everything.

But thanks for playing anyway.

Ask a question that requires a complex answer and you should expect a complex answer. Boiling it all down to yes or no, simple ignores the non absolute quality of history.

History is not a logical tool, it has shades of colour, confidence and plausibility are more it's tools rather than definite's and absolutes.

I'm glad to have played it was interesting.

If I have provided a stereotypical answer then that's pretty cool, for here I was observing that one of the reasons why non-believers get stroppy with believers is because the believers claim to have absolute answers and provide them, and for me to not provide one and that is stereotypical seems like another useful point for developing an understanding that many believers are not the dogmatic, inflexible and absolutists that so many naysayers claim they are.

For the most part I felt your respect, until the last post which had a lot of disrespect in it, but fear not for frustration often creates disrespect, and lack of understanding creates frustration. The way past that frustration is to find understanding, not your understanding which you already have and was part of what caused your frustration, but my understanding - not to incorporate it into yourself but to acknowledge that I do not see as you do and so be able to incorporate that acknowledgment of difference into yourself.

Seems to me you wanted yes/no, even going so far as to tell me you wanted yes/no, when I refused to give these absolute answers, for my stated reasons and instead gave the answers I think are appropriate, frustration was created for I was not doing what it was that you wanted me to do.

I'm sorry my last post came across as disrespectful.

The question i am asking allows for the following facts:

1. There are references in the bible to present day locations.
2. There are references in the bible to architecture that can be found today.
3. The bible makes references to spiritual happenings.

Do you agree with these facts?
