It seems it's more of the media hyperbolizing the "civil war" and more fearmongering about "invasions" (sans the armed force part of invasions) by illegal immigrants.

No, I don't see how a Civil War would happen - at least not like it did the last time. It'll be more like a civil "cold" war of a sort. But there may also be other things to consider.

For one, I was reading that the head of the Border Patrol union made statements indicating their support for Texas and opposing the Administration. (Agents ‘Absolutely’ Don’t Want To Cut Greg Abbott’s Razor Wire, Border Patrol Union President Says)


The government can issue orders in Washington DC, but if those federal personnel with boots on the ground in Texas refuse to follow orders, what are they going to do?

I'm not saying they would disobey orders, but I also know that issuing orders to troops far away to "hold or die," without giving consideration to the logistical situation is...unwise. The Border Patrol is on the firing line and caught in the middle between the current political squabbling. I don't like the Border Patrol, and in many ways, they're the worst of the worst among bad cops in this country. But I also know that Washington DC is quite far from the Mexican border.

I can't figure out what goal they're going for. Are they really being as short-sighted as it seems like they're being?

I mean, they're trying to argue that the states should have the right to interfere with CBP activities at the border. They're also hoping Trump will win in November. What do they think will happen in California when the state disagrees with what Trump wants to do there?

I am not saying illegal immigration is right. Though it does contribute close on $400 billion per year to the us economy.

Some of it is right.

It's legal under international law for asylum-seekers to enter a country in order to claim refugee status.

Not all irregular border crossings fall into this category, but the group coming up from Guatemala that had Republicans in a tizzy certainly did.

A country doesn't have to make it physically easy for asylum-seekers to enter between crossing points, but if they manage to cross, they haven't committed any crime.

This makes Insurrection minuscule in comparison to what Biden and The People's Democrat Party is actively trying to do to this country.

It's time to remove this traitor from office the same exact way as this rebellious leftest party is trying to remove Trump from running for office who ironically and hypocritically call him a traitor.

Biden is trying to start a civil war using federal agencies under his command to subvert Texas right to protect its own people as well as the people of this nation from all enemies foreign and domestic.

Let's see what the People's Democrat party is going to do next as Texas Florida South Dakota and Oklahoma make their stand.

My own personal assessment is Civil War probably won't actually occur. But you can definitely see the makings of one if this runaway traitor regime is not dealt with sooner than later, which makes me grateful this is an election year. Time to apply the 14th Amendment to Biden since they want to play that game.

I think it should be obvious to people by now that the bad guy is not Trump.

I can see terrorist attacks here and there over the nation by extremists, sure, but lets be real. You obviously don't live in America. Illegal immigrants are arrested but "released" pending a court hearing, they simply don't show up to court and stay in the country. Trump signed a bill to stop "catch and release". Biden overturned it! Immigrants know this, they just need to get into the country and if they stay under the radar once released then they can live on indefinitely.

• 2.1 million migrants have been released (Jan. 2021-March 2023) after crossing the border illegally. Total releases are almost certainly higher, but until the government releases the full data, we can’t know the exact number.
• 850,000 visitors overstayed their visas and remained in the country illegally in 2022.
