Honestly, being part of a union is nice. Makes it hard for corporations to exploit their workers

The very first thing the corporation that bought the hospital I work at tried to do was to take their best lawyers to the state capital and attempt to strip the unions from the contract they signed as part of the original deal. I wonder why? Apparently this is something they've done with other hospitals they've bought up in other states. Thankfully the state I live in has better protections for it's workforce

But it's also true that one must recognize the problem before one can begin to act to mitigate it.

Unity is more than just joining a union. And the problem is far bigger than just getting a few more dollars an hour at the factory.

The question is more what does he do with the pile of money that's been thrown at him? I would ask that about ANY artist that hits the capitalist pop-lottery.

Unions are not a panacea, many of them are quite terrible. Class warfare is a deleterious and pernicious thing. Wealth envy is a bitter evil.

What we really need are far more regular working class people running for public office. People that won't sell us all out the minute the big money boys come around with their "support". And people that have not bought into the divisive culture war BS. We need someone other than corporate toadies and career criminals to vote for.
