What do you think of this church and the messages they put on their sign?

I think simple answers appeal to simple people, and that things people convey tend to reveal far more about themselves than what they're addressing.

That same church had on their sign last month (wish I had taken a pic of it too):

White cop kills a black man and walks free.
Black man rapes a white woman and gets life in prison.

If you can read this, you are as lucky as I am.
I don't care enough to vet this source, but it claims there are 69,738 black churches in America:

Google Answers: Churches in America

Maybe that's off. . . Who knows exactly. . . But for fun, let's do some math.

1/69,738 black churches are the subject of the OP. This means that a whopping .0014% of black churches have put up these politically slanted signs and preach the messages alleged here.

.0014%. The outrage!

Clearly an epidemic that indicts a whole race, creed, religion, or movement.

I know, right! The same stats can be used for cops:

There are around 800,000 sworn LEOs in the USA.
Cops killed around 1,000 people in 2016 for whatever reasons.

That means that 0.00125% of cops killed someone in 2016. Oh the outrage! 1 out of every 800 cops nationwide killed someone. Let's paint them all as racist murderers!

When you look at it like that, it's not exactly the epidemic that the media has been making it out to be.

I'm still trying to figure out why it would matter if this church was attended by blacks, whites, blues, or pink polka dot.

At any rate, I've seen all sorts of churches put odd messages on their signs. It's their private property and their right to do so. On the whole, I find advertising billboards far more objectionable and problematic.

Absolutely. General outrage over specific examples isn't a sound way to learn anything valuable.

It doesn't matter. The title is a tactic that I borrowed from the media to draw attention, even though there's not really anything substantive to see. :D

There is a lot of churches that supported Hillary. Of course that they are slinging mud. Those churches does it for the money.
I know for a fact that any church that promoted late term abortion is not a godly church at all.

Matthew 7:16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
