I only watched two.
In one a crowd is chanting "Black Power " around a burning gas station. In the other a black guy explains that the violence is because rich people don't give enough money to black people.

This is why I am against the 'Black Lives Matter' campaign and movement. It stirs up lingering below the surface black dislike of whites and then predictably white dislike of blacks. Are things so terrible for blacks that we need to stir up negative emotions to a fevered pitch. And will that accomplish anything positive? This organization was a negative right from its naming.

Things like this, even well intentioned, just keeps reaffirming there are notable differences in people warranting different treatment than others. It perpetuates that systemic cycle of "disease" over and over that one group is different requiring special treatment and dillegence over another.

Reminding every day of those differences. Sometimes with destruction and violence.

What's odd, NPR talks of the shooting & the riots, but they don't mention anyone's race.
Normally, race is the big issue.
Why are they so worked up about a cop shooting an armed fleeing suspect?

In pretty much all other BLM protests, the issue stemmed from officers shooting / killing an unarmed African American. And in most of those cases, it was debatable whether or not the person shot had been involved in wrongdoing. In this case, it stems from armed African American trying to flee cops after wrong doing.

Was at block party last night and spoke with ex-cop who said the shooting is justified if fleeing suspect is not showing their hands, and isn't stopping. Whether or not anyone else agrees that makes for justified shooting is perhaps matter of ongoing debate, but seems like one of those things that easier to scrutinize cops from a distance than walk a mile in their shoes, given how law (enforcement) is supposed to work. Never mind the whole updated narrative that BLM is now essentially saying to society you can no longer shoot armed African Americans who are suspects of wrongdoing without expecting a fevered riot as a 'reasonable response' to that.

Btw, I live about 5 miles from where this all occurred yesterday evening. I process it as looking for any excuse to hold such a despicable riot and hope progressive types will be foolish enough to side with rioters who think they are not getting a fair shake.

Listen. MY grandfather, a Russian immigrant in 1913, was given the lowest of the low
jobs because of what he was. Coal mine slave don'cha'know.
He managed to have and raise 9 kids, all successful and died owning a 215
acre dairy farm.
HE WORKED FOR IT.
No welfare or food stamps back then.

Not being heavily reported, as expected, but it was a black police officer who shot the young man...after repeatedly telling him to put down the stolen pistol he was armed with.

So sad and disgusting the way ignorance is fueling the BLM movement, riots, "protests", etc.

This is not far removed from the "Hindu-Muslim riots" I am familiar with (mostly started by violent Muslim extremists, sociopathic in nature, and which of course such violence will eventually result in violent backlash).

The result of this will result in time in armed backlash by racially incited targets of black racism who will reach a point of stepping out of "lockdown mode" simply trying to protect themselves from such retrogrades and a dramatic rise is total mistrust of all blacks in general and conclusions by victims of black racists that all blacks are backward violent mindset based on race and not just culture. All this will, in it's time, see the rise of white reaction that will take on a racist reaction. Just read some of the comments. We hear of the term neo-Nazi. Well, Obama is a total failure, he is a neo-Islamist and ideologue of racism of his own venue.

Obamanists hold major responsibility for all of this. I'm stumped. I have surfed the net for days now and can't find one
site, not one news statement, nothing at all where white folks are rioting
or proclaiming "white lives matter".
