"Blacks Lives Matter" Rioters Racially Attack "Whites"

According to that link, the percentage is generally low and most of the problems come from paperwork or administration/processing problems.

That is hardly a study or even a news article.

He may have had mental issues.

How does she know they aren't? And how does she know they didn't buy their phone with a contract, which lowers the cost of the phone?

I tried to see what the restrictions Maine has on TANF, as each state can decide restrictions, and all I found was they added a time-limit on how long you can collect benefits the year after her time at Wal-Mart.

I don't see what the issue is. If they spend on one meal what could have gotten them two or three is up to them.

And he'll probably be discovered when he files his taxes.

As for the rest, there is no way she didn't encounter the rude customers who weren't on welfare. I see no reason to point it out when I know from first hand experience those sorts are frequently found in all economic classes.

Leaving the anti Obama rant out,
Would you agree that the facts available make #BLM look hideously violent and racist?
Tom

Only if you're deliberately trying to tie a self-avowed peaceful protest movement to these acts of violence - and if you're doing that then it's probably safe to say you've either got a thing against BLM or you completely miss the point of the movement.

I seriously don't understand the anti-BLM logic on display in this thread. There has been societal racism against black people in America for literally centuries and that's all fine. But suddenly black people get upset at how biased the system is against them so they lash out in anger, and all of a sudden it's how dare they?! This is little different to all the bull**** attempts to tar the Occupy movement as a bunch of violent communists because some people got fed up with being tear gassed by police for simply protesting.

Another point is that nobody said 'All Lives Matter' until after Black Lives Matter became a thing. The All Lives Matter movement is sanctimonious reactionary white-led bull**** because the point of BLM has gone completely over some folks' heads. You're angry that black people are daring to say that black lives matter as well - black people are angry that they even have to.

The overall percentage is still very low for most of them, and from what it's saying a good chunk of that is not the fault of those receiving as it uses the phrase "high error program" rather frequently, indicating it has to do with processing and filing errors, mistakes on paper work, and administrative errors. The solution here isn't demonizing the poor and pretending they all waste their assistance, but apparently a more streamlined process and forms that are easier to fill is going to be needed to greatly reduce that number.

You can thank the Obama administration for the massive spending and deficit. He has spent more than Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush COMBINED!

Obama inherited a massive deficit and national debt from the Bush administration which managed to make that from a sizeable surplus. You have to spend money to make money; the situation in Britain has proven that the opposite - austerity economics - doesn't work for getting a country out of economic crisis.

As counter-intuitive as that reads, you are correct. What is called "depression economics", which actually is a specialization of sorts, sometimes involves what to many seems illogical-- except that it works. Bernanke has a world-wide reputation as likely be the best in that field, and Obama was intelligent enough to listen to him and take his advice. If the majority of Republicans who voted against the "bailout" had won out, many economists believe we would likely have entered a depression possibly worse than the Great Depression.

BTW, let me just add that both Bush and Paulson realized near the end of their term that the "bailout", as unsavory as it was, had to be done. .

You kinda missed an important aspect of what Obama inherited from the Bush administration, commitments.
From the wars to Medicaid D to debt service, Obama didn't have the option of ending those commitments.
But he gets the flack for paying on them.
