"Blacks Lives Matter" Rioters Racially Attack "Whites"

I've seen it, and more than enough of my fill of it from both sides. Like my trailer park example, they are nearly anywhere close to that bad (typically), but there is still a good deal of it there. And it's to be expected because both hoods and trailer parks are typically working lower-class. Either place has plenty of good people, but on occasion you do either than one ******* or a herd of them. One has handguns, the other shotguns. The one big difference is the police aren't killing the trailer park inhabitants like they are hood inhabitants.
You live in a trailer park, eh.....has Bill Clinton made a pass at you yet?

I had to ask.
It's not my fault!

I should've pointed out that most of the abuse I saw was by white folk.
(That should buy me some credibility, eh.)
Unemployment insurance fraud is rampant too.
I have seen it mostly with white families also.
But then, I live in a predominately white area.

I see no reason to believe that blacks, asians, etc. do not participate.

I agree.

Personally, I have always been for an isolationist policy, bring all our troops home from all over the world, end foreign aid, and roll up the red carpet.

Time to take care of Number 1.

I have said this very thing for years. I voted for Ron Paul 8 years ago by writing in his name, and again 4 years ago. Take that $$$ we are blowing overseas and spend it on our infrastructure instead. If the world has a crisis, then the world can respond and we will do our part, not headline the whole damn thing.

Christian conservative pro-lifers will do everything in their power to keep her from getting contraceptives or abortions.

And they vote.
Tom

I have to respectfully disagree, at least in part. The Catholic church (I believe) has historically been opposed to birth control, I don't think most protestants are against birth control. In fact to me it is much preferred to abortion or 15 kids per single mother. The real victims here are the children.

I'll agree....except for the Asians.
They're the model minority.
(I have to say this because of the in-laws.)

Notice:
I can't be racist against white people!
My mother was white & I even once dated a white girl.

For starters, there is no single program called "welfare." There are different programs that offer government assistance that you can apply for, based on your needs. I agree that social services need to be in place to assist people during hard times. However, "welfare" should not be a way of life, and it was never intended as such. People tend to abuse the system and file false claims in order to get more money (physical disability, health issues, etc.) and I know this because I see it every single day on the job.

Many of the abusers (which tend to be in the inner cities) file for Section 8 housing, food stamps, WIC, CHIP, SSI, disability, etc. They do not work and make no attempt to find a job. They sit on the porch, smoke Newports, drink cheap beer, and gloat that they receive a "welfare package" that is worth over $35,000 per year TAX FREE. Don't tell me the s**t does not happen because I see it every single freaking day.

As a matter of fact, when I was a patrol officer I had to do a report for a 22 year old black female because her house got broken into. Our report has a space for the victim's information which includes place of employment. She stated that she did not work because she received a disability check. As I was looking at her, she seemed perfectly able to work, so I asked her "what type of disability do you have"? Her reply was "oh I am not disabled, it is my mom's check." I said "oh ok, so is this your house or her house"? Her reply floored me..."it's my house. My mom died three years ago."

Yeah, I turned her in to SSA.

Yep. There is a fine line between helping the needy and enabling the con.

The evidence is the fact that I am a cop in a large, southeastern city. Come do a ride-a-long, you'll have all the evidence you need.

Excellent idea. I am a huge advocate of the ride along. I've taken people on ride alongs and the vast majority of the time they go home afterwards with a greater appreciation for the police.

People would do well to seek out all sorts of experiences which differ from their usual.
The real world can be so different from what's portrayed in the media.
I'm amazed how many base what they know from movies & political echo chambers.

Never lived in one, but I've visited plenty of them. Same with the hoods around here, never lived, but have visited. Even used to stop in at the house of this black guy who hates white people (he had a white ex who stabbed him). I never had any problems with him, but he hated white people. It made me wonder if being a black person around a racist white person who has black friends feels anything similar to that, because even for me it was a bit awkward at first. But that's pretty much my "adventures" in "that part of town" where a few people have insisted I'm going to get mugged, raped, shot, stabbed, and sometimes just killed.
Now, granted, we don't have a "hood" like Indianapolis, Columbus, LA, or New York, but you do tend to find generally the same unsavory sorts in low-income areas as you do with a certain flavor of disgust coming from the middle class, or the bitterness of the wealthy. They all have terrible people, but obviously someone who is low class most likely is not going to be involved in high-dollar business schemes and plots and don't have the money for top shelf drugs or to fuel their destructive behaviors. But they do have cheap alcohol, cheap pills, cheap meth, and a mouth.

Feel free to tell me who you think it is that is trying to defund Planned Parenthood. Or requiring mothers to bury or cremate fetal children. Or require abortion clinics to have admitting privileges to hospital. Or stop paying for employees health care plans that cover contraception. Or....or.....or.......

Those are conservative Christian pro-lifers.

The real world is very different from what the media portrays for the purpose of stirring things up for a story. I mean seriously. An armed man is shot after refusing to drop his gun and the neighborhood goes up in flames of
protest. Makes no sense.

That's why I said I only disagree in part. A person can be against abortion and still for birth control.

But who is against birth control, abortion, and government help?
Conservative Christian pro-lifers, that's who.
That was what I said in the first place.

According to that link, the percentage is generally low and most of the problems come from paperwork or administration/processing problems.
That is hardly a study or even a news article.

I once had a man show me his welfare card for an ID to buy alcohol.
He may have had mental issues.
People ignoring me on their iPhones while the state paid for their food. (For those of you keeping score at home, an iPhone is at least $200, and requires a data package of at least $25 a month. If a person can spend $25+ a month so they can watch YouTube 24/7, I don’t see why they can’t spend that money on food.)
How does she know they aren't? And how does she know they didn't buy their phone with a contract, which lowers the cost of the phone?

People using TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) money to buy such necessities such as earrings, kitkat bars, beer, WWE figurines, and, my personal favorite, a slip n’ slide. TANF money does not have restrictions like food stamps on what can be bought with it.
I tried to see what the restrictions Maine has on TANF, as each state can decide restrictions, and all I found was they added a time-limit on how long you can collect benefits the year after her time at Wal-Mart.

) Extravagant purchases made with food stamps; including, but not limited to: steaks, lobsters, and giant birthday cakes.
I don't see what the issue is. If they spend on one meal what could have gotten them two or three is up to them.

A man who ran a hotdog stand on the pier in Portland, Maine used to come through my line. He would always discuss his hotdog stand and encourage me to “come visit him for lunch some day.” What would he buy? Hotdogs, buns, mustard, ketchup, etc. How would he pay for it? Food stamps. Either that man really likes hotdogs, or the state is paying for his business. Not okay.
And he'll probably be discovered when he files his taxes.

As for the rest, there is no way she didn't encounter the rude customers who weren't on welfare. I see no reason to point it out when I know from first hand experience those sorts are frequently found in all economic classes.
