Maybe you can get into some UU or something.

Why don't you start with defining your belief in god and contemplating what seems logical to you about him/her/it 's nature. Then consider what might be an expression of that nature and where you might find it.

@Tumah

Thanks, though I'm not seeking in that sense..more like denominations or whatever,,,just getting ideas.

Then maybe it would be more helpful if you offered a brief list of some of your beliefs so that those of us who don't comb through the forums looking for all your posts (not me of course) might be able to offer some relevant suggestions.

Don't worry about it, Luis and some others have read plenty of my comments.. I'm trying to see what others think, not me, that's the point here.

Thank you sir.
Wait...did I just call you sir?!
I have a natural tendency to inspire respect in others. I try to keep it under control so that
I'll experience the normal derision & disrespect here, but alas, it just leaks out now & then.

If you can get respect from me, that's an achievement. You should get a fish or something.

You know something, Disciple?

You could to worse than exercising a bit of expression of your views. At least for a time.

Try to find some sort of debate group. A live group, mind you. A religious one if reasonably possible. I want to say to try a Quakers group if available, but I'm going by others' opinions here.

I certainly have no idea. I've read a lot of your questions, but often there has been no really clear response back, at least from what I've read. So although you've said you're learning, it's unclear as to what exactly you are learning.

If it's a real life issue as well, why not shop around out there as well? Visit a few different places.

Don't worry about it. I hope we're all here to learn.

Lol not a problem. I argue various positions on the forums on topics I'm familiar with or have read about.

Well nice. Approaching things with open mind and reading and reflecting on things is always helpful.

I just wanted to give my opinion on this;

My advice is that try at first to figure things out logically instead of jumping from one religion to other. I think approaching religions by evaluating theologies can be helpful. When you do this and come down with your own list, let your heart lead you. This may seem time consuming, but I am sure it would cost you less time than jumping from one religion to another and try things out, which may turn out to be frustrating.

I still say you go observe some practices rather than words. Take the intellect out of it for awhile, and try the feel of things. For example, within 20 minutes of me are a couple Buddhist temples, 3 Hindu temples, umpteen dozen churches, 2 synagogues, 2 gurdwaras, a coupla casinos. Maybe one of them would feel like home.
