Originally COVID-19 was believed to have occurred naturally through mutations.
It is now suspected that the virus may have accidentally leaked from a Wuhan laboratory in Hubei province.
Researchers from the UK, United States and other countries are looking at all possibilities to try and establish the source of the virus.
The US intelligence community believed that the Wuhan lab may have accidentally developed the strain while working on bat diseases.
The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is reported to have been studying coronaviruses in bats.
A Washington Post columnist claimed that US embassy officials visited the institute two years earlier.
They sent warnings back about inadequate safety procedures there, saying: “During interactions with scientists at the WIV laboratory, they noted the new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory."
US President Donald Trump has said his government is trying to determine whether COVID-19 emanated from a Wuhan laboratory.
He said: “We are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation that happened.”
Mike Pompeo also said Beijing "needs to come clean" on what they know.
The Secretary of State said: “The mere fact that we don’t know the answers — that China hasn’t shared the answers — I think is very, very telling.”

btw Who ever said anything about 'UNCONTROLLED' immigration, the left has never supported that.

Here's the thing, you see. Michael Gove has probably done more for Holocaust education and the Jewish community in Britain than any senior politician other than Gordon Brown. It's obvious to anyone why he would have read the work of a Holocaust denier.
Owen Jones, on the other hand, was an actual cheerleader for Jeremy Corbyn - a man described by one of his own MPs as a "racist antisemite". If Jones had his way, that same Jeremy Corbyn would be in Number Ten right now.
Twitter can be annoying, infuriating and sometimes plain pointless. But sometimes it can reveal truths. And in one stupid tweet last night, Owen Jones confirmed a truth about himself and his fellow hard left travellers: that their true ideology is hypocrisy.
