I agree, that his inappropriate humor appeals to a group. People really do eat it up. But America eats a lot of garbage that is not good for us.

That's why we have the Trump Traveling Road Show. Drama, mudslinging, lawsuits..a regular Jerry Springer we have and all are guilty. Ceptn me. I refused to vote. I was so disgusted I seceded my property from the Union back on 4/1/17.

I am failing to see how this addresses the fact that it is unhealthy and inappropriate coming from the POTUS.

Yet it is not about you or some other individual. I hope you do not try to interpret "not healthy" as will give you the flu. Not healthy here means that it impacts the reputation of the U.S. it impacts the politics of the U.S. and it impacts the citizens indirectly because of this.

Because the Constitution doesn't say the president should act in a manner deserving respect, you don't think such is necessary

We are talking about a person to whom the Constitution invests all of the executive power. Are you suggesting that such a powerful position should be given to someone that behaves in a way that is disrespectful to citizens, to other countries, to our own country?

And I get why you, a citizen frustrated with the political system, would make a joke like this.

And if you truly feel that protecting civil rights, providing for the general welfare and safety of people is a joke, that is ok too.

I just would expect that my representatives do not share the latter statement and are smart enough to realize that even joking about issues like this is harmful when you are the representative.
