Could not provide you the results earlier due to computer problems. BJP won elections to all the three municipal corporations in Delhi with a 42% vote in its favor, capturing 184 seats out of the total of 270, doing better than what it did in 2012 elections when it had 138 seats (i.e., just about 50%, now they have two-thirds).

Supreme Court today begins hearing petitions against Muslim personal Law concerning Talaq, Polygamy, Alimony, Custody of children, etc. Interesting that the bench will consist of five senior judges, all of different religions - Chief Justice JS Khehar (Sikh), Justice Kurian Joseph (Christian), Justice Rohinton Nariman (Zoroastrian), Justice Uday Lalit (Hindu) and Justice Abdul Nazeer (Muslim). Sure, we like to do things in our way.

"The scope of referring had all the three issues that was divorce, nikah halala, polygamy. All these three issues are before this court by virtue of the reference order of the two-judge bench," Attorney General Rohatgi said.

A five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice J S Khehar said, "It may not be possible to deal with all the three issues in the limited time we have. We will keep them pending for future."

“If the Supreme Court completely strikes down triple talaq, we will bring a law,” Rohatgi told the five judge Constitution bench of the apex court on Monday.
