I recall when Trump's son was asked some years ago how his father was able to put together the golf coarse and huge hotel complex in Scotland, he answered, "Russian money," or words to that effect. Putin is holding some kind of carrot in front of Trump, whether its a promise of financial gain or a promise not to disclose some kind of ego shattering, criminal shenanigans. In either case. Trump is selling the USA down the drain, and the Republicans in congress, for some unknown godawful reason, are helping him.
As was pointed out on one of the news shows this morning, Putin has 18 years of being in charge and Trump has 18 months, and it certainly shows.

So, what do you think the Republicans in Congress will do next with this? I watched it, and Trump looked like a sock-puppet of Putin.
Nothing. They are either utter and complete cowards or utter minions of his. They are slaves.

What is sad is how many millions of people will now decide that freedom and the Constitution are meaningless and what is needed is to make that traitor a dictator because they are full members of his cult .

I see the bad moon arising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today
...
I hear hurricanes a blowing
I know the end is coming soon
I fear rivers overflowing
I hear the voice of rage and ruin

Even if everything you say is true -- and I'm not saying it is -- none of that would change even one bit of what Trump has done in Helsinki.

I saw the same press conference, but I didn't make the same observations. It just looked like a regular press conference for a summit.

"Treasonous" seems a bit over the top, and besides, "treason" is in the eye of the beholder.

David Gergen was a Reaganite stooge, so his opinion is hardly worth anything. A former CIA director has even less credibility on such matters. McCarthy accused the Democrats of treason for "losing" China and Eastern Europe (as if they ever belonged to the US in the first place). The hippies were accused of treason for their anti-war positions.

If we're going to play fast and loose with the word "treason," then we can open up an even bigger can of worms.

Republicans are turning on Trump including Gingrich. There is talk that some are going to resign as well. They are jumping off the sinking ship.

Friday I and other liberals up here were talking about what we were going to do if Trump is not impeached, some of us said drinking getting drunk.

On one of my posts I said sometimes politics makes me suicidal, thinking of Trump getting away with murder made feel destructive and Id take a break from politics. Then I said I would escape the whole situation by using spirituality.

Well I thought he would get away with it. Friday we heard 12 indictments against Russian spies and there was no indictments or guilt found of Americans or Trump, the guy got away with murder.

Considering the fact that he would get away with murder you would think he would be smart enough to take the advice from Republicans who would go over everything he needed to do to meet Puttin.

He was suppose to tell Puttin to bring in the Russian spies to question Puttin on his knowledge, to be hard on Puttin .He was to
tell him he believed the US intelligence and to stay out of our politics and be stern and try to get him to bring in the Russian spies .

I thought he would be smart and do all of that and or at least try to privately speak to Puttin and hide his true feelings by speaking to him privately. He just got away with murder, you'd think he'd be smart enough to not open his bug fat trap.

I thought that was the end of the investigation and now they have found another Russian spy and it is just beginning. This is a crazy mixed up world.

Frankly a part of me is happy now thinking about the fact that Trump could be brought down or even impeached.
But Im freaked out too, I am really astonished and shocked at his behavior, I had no idea how trully involved our President has been with Russia till now, it kind of scares me. My breathing is off I have binged today I am gonna have to shut off politics tonight and meditate.

As happy as I am to bring Trump down I am not happy that out President is like this. BTW for any Trump followers, are you kidding me, I had no idea he was this completely stupid , the guy had it made OMG really I just can not believe he is this stupid. He shot himself in the foot.

Is that why so many Republicans have soundly denounced what he said and why many European leaders are shocked and dismayed?

Putin is offering to question suspects in Muellers indictments if an official request for it is made and will include members of Muellers team to be part of it if they so wish.
Why in the world would Mueller's team be dumb enough to do that? Do you honestly believe the Russians under Putin would admit to any wrongdoing? Haven't you noticed what tends to happen to those who "disappoint" Putin?

I'm not playing fast & loose with anything but just mentioning what so many have clearly seen and heard for themselves. The only serious question is why is Trump doing this, and one of my hypotheses is that Putin has something(s) on Trump and Trump knows it.

Little correction: only globalist pro-Soros European leaders are shocked.

Nationalist Europe is celebrating.

Either that or Trump is just extremely pliable and credulous, especially when it comes to people he admires.

Nice stereotype that doesn't work if you actually read or listen to the news.

Only those blind to history.

So, you hate Pope Francis, who's a man of peace, but you support Vladimir Putin who's a man of war and murder. "Interesting" choices.
