Brexit poll reveals record number of voters think decision to leave EU is wrong

If that's true then you've truly lost qualifications to be an independent country and need someone from the outside to take care of your country.
Why?
Should businesses not plan for the WORSE CASE SCENARIO, it may not happen.

The fact that you planned for the Worse Case Scenario doesn't exclude you having plans for the best outcome.
So you're saying your government prepared for a Worst Case Scenario. That is more reasonable than being incapable when the EU pulls the plug.

I'm no supporter of this government but yes, they looked into what is the worse possible outcome.
It's a bit like a SWOT analysis, standard business practice.

Optimistic polling data. Can a lad still dare to dream that Brexit will yet be entirely averted, both hard and soft?
I very much doubt it and I’m not convinced a reversal at this point would be any less disruptive for the country than going through with it. It would also be political suicide for May and potentially the Conservatives in general, triggering a leadership election (and major cabinet reshuffle) at least if not a general election.

If that's the case then my local pro-EU media fudged the report a bit making it appear as this wasn't the worst scenario, but more of like EU putting on light punishment by delaying your shipments.

Well the EU slowing down shipments would be part of a worse case scenario, so your pro-EU media is not wrong.
