I had a boot, although I didn't wear it much. It made my foot numb. I am in it now to walk. Two socks and loosening the straps is helping the numbness.

I broke my foot in the day of plaster casts. Imagine wearing the same thick sock, so thick that air cannot get through, for months. And in the hot summer months besides all of that.
