Yet again, I have to remind you I am not a follower of JC; I will not vote Labour whilst he is in charge (apart from as a tactical vote to stop someone else)

You may be in denial but as a Leftie, Corbyn and his crew should be your obvious choice.

Watson is no better but you agree with his fascist beliefs.

You seem to be too embarrassed to reveal whom you do support.

So I did. It must have been his tanning expertise that made me think of Spain, silly me.

So anyway, getting the wrong country makes Steve Yobbo not a violent thug, right?

If everyone had followed the teaching of Jesus Christ and turned the other cheek the world would be a much better place. Since they have not, I am not going to condemn anyone, including John Prescott, for defending themselves.

Non sequitur?

When the media have demonised someone to extent that they have done to Tommy, any form of attack is possible. He has already been doused in a liquid that could easily have been acid and people are being stabbed more and more frequently these days.

Crime is out of control in certain parts of the UK and the same can probably be said of Portugal.

Even you hate Tommy Robinson and you do not know him. You only know what you have been told, the same as all the others that hate him.

You have warped version of political divisions.
I have said numerous times I am centrist, slightly to the left; currently I am totally disenfranchised, so vote Lib Dem or Green. My normal home is Labour but with their very left politics and Brexit stance, I cannot support them.

I knew you were on the Left but -

The party is often dubbed the “Ukip of the left”. But an examination of the party's core priorities - in a document called Policies for a Sustainable Society, set at the party's annual conference - reveals they are far more radical in their aims than Nigel Farage's outfit.

In the short term, a Green administration would impose a string of new taxes, ramp up public spending to unprecedented levels and decriminalise drugs, brothels and membership of terrorist groups.

In the long term, they want to fundamentally change life as we know it.

International aid should be increased by nearly 50 per cent to one per cent of GDP under Green Policy.

Merely being a member of al-Qaeda, the IRA and other currently proscribed terrorist groups will no longer be a criminal offence under Green plans, and instead a Green Government should seek to “address desperate motivations that lie behind many atrocities labelled ‘terrorist’,” the policy book states.

Terrorism, it adds, “is an extremely loaded term. Sometimes governments justify their own terrorist acts by labelling any groups that resist their monopoly of violence 'terrorist’.”

Britain will leave NATO, end the special relationship with the US, and unilaterally abandon nuclear weapons. A standing army, navy and airforce is “unnecessary”. Bases will be turned into nature reserves and the arms industry “converted” to producing windturbines.

“Richer regions do not have the right to use migration controls to protect their privileges from others in the long term,” the party’s policy book states.

A Green Government will “progressively reduce” border controls, including an amnesty for illegal immigrants after five years.

Access to benefits, the right to vote and tax obligations will apply to everyone living on British soil, regardless of passport. The policy book states: “We will work to create a world of global inter-responsibility in which the concept of a 'British national' is irrelevant and outdated.”

Political parties will be funded by the state, and the electoral system changed. The monarchy will be abolished.

Drugs, brothels, al-Qaeda and the Beyonce tax: the Green Party plan for Britain

The Torygraph does hit jobs on all the parties that threaten the status quo of their beloved Tory Party.

I fully approve of decriminalising drugs, increasing public spending and taxes, brothels should be legalised too - and monitored.
If you legalise drugs, sell them through chemists you kill the underground market and half crime overnight; and as a bonus you have a new tax stream. Again it must be monitored.

Therefore, you would support the rest of it because you fully approve of some of it.

Was the video “fake news” as well?

Steven has called Muslims "enemy combatants", he and his followers call people who disagree with him "nonces" (even while an increasing number of his supporters are found to be) and "traitors" despite the fact they don't owe Yaxley-Lennon any loyalty.

If the rhetoric is extreme it is because people like him have made it extreme. It is incredibly hypocritical of him (and you) to support such a polarisation of rhetoric then act all surprised when he is then subjected to the same.

and people are being stabbed more and more frequently these days.

Doesn't mean Steven should get a free pass on what he does. It's not a competition of who should get media coverage - they can (and do) cover both.

Crime is out of control in certain parts of the UK and the same can probably be said of Portugal.

None of which means Steven should not be subject to scrutiny and criticism for his thuggish behaviour.

You may be in denial but as a Leftie, Corbyn and his crew should be your obvious choice.

Are you even aware of how deceitful you seem when you constantly try to misrepresent other peoples' political views? Especially when they've explained them to you in the past?

You seem to be too embarrassed to reveal whom you do support.

I'm pretty sure @Altfish has stated in the past who he supports. Just because he doesn't harp on about it incessantly or wear his political heart on his sleeve like you do doesn't mean he's embarrassed. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise.

Oh look, NAN is writing about the Green Party of England & Wales. Maybe he'll do the sensible thing and source directly from their website where they lay their policies out for literally anyone to view. Like any intelligent person would.
...
Oh wait, he's sourced an attack article from the Telegraph - a right-wing newspaper which had a vested interest in demonising any opposition party that threatens the government of the day. The author does not once provide a single source for any of his outrageous claims. Oh, and the article is four years old so even if it was accurate it's more than likely out-dated.

What a surprise

Also,

The above Telegraph link said:
The [Green] party is often dubbed the “Ukip of the left”.

By whom?! Literally nobody calls them this.

Therefore, you would support the rest of it because you fully approve of some of it.

Are you so bereft of nuanced thought that you actually believe this? This is just asinine.

No, I just despise him, just as I despise other street thugs - whether or not they run tanning salons.

But, as he's trying to gain support for a neofascist form of politics in which violence is not far from the surface, I also take opportunities such as the one you are offering me here, to draw the attention of readers to his true character and that of the company he keeps:-

Yes you do. You complain about hypocrisy in politics, yet you have also stated elsewhere you're not troubled with lies, law-breaking & deceit by the Leave campaign if they get the result you want.

Interestingly, you can't actually address what I said. You resort to your usual weak one-liners.

Which means it ought to matter more to you that your side won by cheating and law-breaking. But it doesn't. Because you're getting the result you wanted: Brexit at all costs.

Just because the Remain side did something wrong (I think they got fined for overspending?) doesn't mean it's subsequently okay for the Leave campaign to do worse

Politics is a dirty business as the Peterborough election proves.

Labour is in the sewer on anti-Semitism

Danny McPhee 9 Jun 2019 1:38PM

Apparently, Naz Shah has just apologised for anti-Semitic comments. Great. Now then, she did remark that the raped girls of Rotherham should "shut their mouths for the sake of diversity", and was duly promoted to the Labour front bench. My goodness, how the self-proclaimed "morally superior" stink to high heaven.
