Yes, because a writer may include real facts in a fictional story, For instance New York is a real place, and it is in the Spiderman movie. This doesn't make Spiderman remotely real of course.
I think Uncle Ben's advice on corruption from power makes it real according to the reasoning I am seeing expressed here. Not that I agree, but I can't wait to meet Spiderman. He is a childhood hero of mine.

Useful is just a variation of saying better or more desirable. If you agree that it’s useful to be in accordance with reality, then you are crossing the line into my view of reality. You are including morality in the domain of reality. Can’t you see that?

I realize this is hard for someone with a hardened scientific, materialist view.
Are you saying that scientists are not moral?
