Can any here offer a solution to the middle east conflicts between Israel and Hamas/Hezbollah?

Gaza has never been Jewish. True? Didn't Philistines live there in earliest times?

Many Jews live secular lives, and it is mostly 'history' that has built up such great enmities. Sure, the religious on both sides will quote religious reasons for all this hatred, but it could be political diplomacy that sorts the dreadful mess out.

Gaza is part of the promised Holy Land. It fell to King David in the early 11th century BC. The majority of Jews in Israel are religious.

But if you can demonstrate that Gaza was never actually part of the promised land of Israel, then perhaps that would help in reaching a modern day diplomatic solution for Gaza (but not for the West Bank or the Golan Heights).

By your own measure you probably don't have any rights at all, I'm guessing.

My forefathers had lived in my country (UK) for about a thousand years, but the Celts could claim back the lot if your ideas have value. Or the Belgae, or.......

So making claims based on ancient history will just get more trouble, more war, methinks.

Billions of dollars of weapons of mass destruction have been employed to destroy the
infrastructure of Gaza .. it is clear that the intention is to cause as much damage as possible.

It is a case of "kicking a man while he's down" on a large scale. There is no justification for
such behavior .. it is the actions of colonial oppression in a blatant manner.

Nobody here seems to have any resolutions, but your post certainly shows just how extremely volatile the whole situation is.

The way Trump almost solved this, was by sanctioning Iran. Iran was/is the country that has and still funds the unrest in the Middle East. Trump froze Iranian bank assets and created an international oil embargo on Iran, so they would not have all that oil money to play military games. It worked, with Trump making a peace deal between Israel and Palestine, that both feeling more secure. Iran is the instigator. Their proxies do not have the resources to be more than a nuisance, without Iran to back them.

Biden and Harris, reversed everything Trump did, removing the oil embargo and freeing up the frozen assets. Maybe they thought Iran had learned their lesson or maybe, they wanted another war to feed the US Military Industrial Complex. But either way, Iran went back to their old games. All the missiles that bombed Israel, that started this latest conflict, were from Iran. The solution is to repeat the Trump era policies. A master mind; Iran, without extra resources to blow, is just a petty criminal who has limited reach.

The solution is simple, but the implications would be to make Biden and Harris responsible. This needs be coveruped in an election year. They hated Trump so much, they were willing to reverse everything he did, from the Border to the Middle East. It led to many disasters. Trump would not have allowed Russia to invade Ukraine, so Biden and Harris had to do the opposite; Trump derangement syndrome. They were not rational enough to realize there is a cause and effect relationship between success and failure. Success is not relative to sour moods but needs a logical approach; reverse engineer the problem to the solution.

The thread is about offering a solution. Do you really think your posts are doing that?

Both sides need to stop hating. You could give it a try and maybe someone on the Israeli will do the same.

to further oppress Palestinians (and Lebanese). They seem to feel that that is an important part
of the solution.

The global south (basically the rest of the world), does not agree.
..so again, if they do not stop, then a non-western power has to FORCE them to stop.

It's common sense .. if nobody stands up to such unreasonable aggression, then who's next?
