Can God be Forgiven?

A Vestigial Mote

I don't see it as being self-important. I see it as being honest. This is who I am. I'm doing the best I can with what I got. How could you expect anything else from me.

All I'm saying is, when faced with an all-powerful being, whose ideology differs drastically from your own - and who you have just come to realize did, indeed, create you along with everything else in the universe, your "forgiveness" of that being means absolutely nothing.

Because it was the Religion OF Jesus, not the Religion about Jesus.

Yes, I get different stories on that. Half the time people claiming that there was nothing unusual about what Jesus taught as a Jewish Rabbi and half claiming there was something unique.

It is written that Jesus taught the law and the prophets, but it seems that people don't, won't or can't understand what was taught. So they created the Religion about Jesus, ie Son of God exclusively who was a human sacrifice for Jewish sinners, since there wasn't any Americans at that time.... LOL
