I want a specific verse that says that pedophilia was immoral. None of the content in the link you provided specifically says or implies that. Its an ad hoc extrapolation from several verses that I don't think even proves the point. The bible is as clear as day about owning slaves and not making graven images. You would think it could explicitly say that pedophilia was disgusting and immoral.
Well, you won't find a specific verse because the Bible does not address all sins specifically. Nevertheless, the Bible is clear and unambiguous concerning sexual activity outside of marriage in the OT and the NT. The scriptures give principles concerning sinful behavior and abuse of children is certainly covered by the Bible's teaching on what is acceptable sexual behavior. You are correct, this behavior is disgusting and immoral...everyone KNOWS this by their God-given and that is the reason child predators
hide their behavior and go to such lengths to use deceptive tactics, while also putting on another ..."great person image" to gain supporters when or if they get caught. Finally, the Bible states that God is Love, and biblical love does not defraud or use another person, child or adult, for lustful and perverted self-gratification. Biblical love is selfless and concerned with the well-being of others.
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Luke 17:2
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. 1 Thess. 4:3-8
