Yep. You win Mr. Sunstone. It's done .I'm done with evolution. Now, which creation camp can I best adapt to?

If evolution is true, then how come it can't explain how life started? Isn't that like building a house without a foundation? How can the house stand up without a foundation? How can the theory of evolution stand up without explaining the origins of life?

Checkmate, evolutionists!

OMG you are right. how could i be so stoopid.

Praise Odin.

Dude, im not gonna read the rest of the thread or anything but, I gotta say it: evolution isn't a house. You can't apply the logic of houses to evolution; houses don't evolve

So ur with ur argumnt an ur postin and you say evlution is lkie house but i post houses are creted. THEN WHO WAS CREATE?

Of course houses evolve. many manor houses evolved into stately homes by adding wings, and we have hundreds of them to prove it.

Human clearly have not evolved as they have no new wings at all.

If houses getting wings were proof of evolution, why can't they use those wings to fly? We're not supposed to evolve useless things. Also, in the same vein, why are there reality television shows? If Sunstone's house metaphor is to be believed, we evolve upward, like walls, not downward  TV has clearly gone downward.

Every time evolution is disproved, the scientists just slap on another million years as if a million years could change anything!

I wonder if humans will evolve to something else millions of years from now.
If humans survive that long, then genetic engineering and cybernetics may well have a significantly larger impact on our forms than natural evolution does that then.

Well, I do believe in evolution, but not in the monkey business way. I mean, it makes sense to have higher percentage of people with more body hair in hot areas than others for example.

I wonder if humans will evolve to something else millions of years from now.

We will make great pets.

Mathematicians say that it would take 34 bajillion years for a moth to evolve into a butterfly.
Try telling it to the Smithsonian though! They are not in the least bit interested about the latest debunk of evolution. All they care about are large dinosaur bones and selling plastic swords.

I was horrified to see that there wasn't a single exhibit portraying Jesus riding a dinosaur in any of the Smithsonian museums. What kind of fake history are these nutjobs cooking up over there?

I don't see where anyone can win this. Everyone wants to believe his/her way is right, but there are only a few things we can discover that prove something "here and there" but there is nothing anyone has ever discovered that is "proof positive". If there is, I haven't seen it or heard of it.

At the very least you might expect them to teach the controversy.

Well the dinasours were way before Jesus right? So I guess it's a joke you're making. I agree with Sunstone in that, both sides should be taught/displayed. Our world is like that though, people teach what they want us to know. I mean, if I don't believe in the bible, I'm not going to teach someone the bible.

I guess I should say, not teach the bible as the only Truth I mean. I may have studies on it and let others form their own opinions.

Jesus riding dinosaurs is not a controversy. How do you think he traveled all over the desert back then? They didn't invent horses until the 16th century.

I think he walked, most people did didn't they? I think owning beasts was for the wealthier folks. I imagine you'd have to have some major dough to own and feed a dinosaur, especially vet bills:(
