Christ like

Christian.....of, pertaining to, having the characteristics of.......Christ

though the Carpenter is my Inspiration
I refrain from calling myself Christian

I am not worthy

Jesus will make you worthy. He will impute His righteousness to you--2 Cor 5;21

I don't walk on water....it would be difficult to follow Him

Water symbolizes God's word(Eph 5:26). Follow Him with what He says.

I can't feed thousands.....I have a budget for groceries
I can't raise the dead

Feed them with the bread of life---God's word.

i am at the mercy of the weather
I will die of disease or accident...I can't heal anyone else.....hardly myself

WE all die, heal them and yourself spiritually.

]and though i look forward to a continuance
it's not up to me

Then ask the One who can and will help you.

If you search for Him earnestly, with all your heart, He will let you find Him---2 Chron 15:15

Save it. You know that Jesus founded the Church. If you think He didn't you're not on a sufficient intellectual level to discuss this intelligently.

He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

Your welcome and anyone who does what they can is not that dark figure of your avatar.

We are all literal thieves at sometime in our life. I just don't want to be a spiritual thief.

He! He! Now you sound just like Trump. "If I say it, it has to be true. . . . . . . So there!"

Rather, if God says it then it is true.

Or you can be like you and say that if Carl Sagan said it then it must be true.

We believe who we wish to believe.

If Jesus didn't go to church, how is going to church Christ like?
Luke 4:16 16 And he came to Naz′a‧reth, where he had been reared; and, according to his custom on the sabbath day, he entered into the synagogue, . . .
Hebrews 10:23-25 . . .. 24 And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, 25 not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as YOU behold the day drawing near.

While I gave you two scriptures that tell us that it is proper for us to assemble together for weekly church activities, personally I do not go to church. The reason is that I have left all churches but not Christ. I cannot go to a church in which I cannot speak out against wrong dogma without getting in trouble.

Jesus taught in the synagogues - but, if I were to go to a church and go up on the podium uninvited teaching about things, perhaps telling them where they are wrong with scriptures, I would be asked to leave and if I didn't police would be called.

So, while I would like to attend church, I find I cannot do so. I did go to a church for about 3 or 4 years trying to fit in. In all those years, none got close to me; though I did my best to be friendly. Now, I go at it alone. Do your best.

let's hope the grace that saved him...can be seen in all of us

It is available to all. He died for everyone sins---For He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world---I Jn 2:2

gathering together for mutual encouragement is not what most churches do. there is no genuine communion between those who understand and those who are asking, seeking, and knocking.

most churches have an individual who stands at the head of the congregation and vomits. even in the synagogue jesus responded to questions and vice versa.

What I posted was not about who was there or about who killed Jesus.

you stated that Jesus died for all. He didn't die for me. He died because of those at that time and said they would be held responsible for those who orchestrated the outcome of killing an innocent person, either consciously or unconsciously.

both are a sin.

In Alabama now you don't even have to wait. They approved churches to have their OWN police force, because nothing says Jesus like hiring trigger-happy cops...
